For Pakistanis living abroad, what have your experiences with Indians been like? do you have any Indian friends? are the ones you meet abroad like the ones we see on social media?

I know lots of Indians and regularly socialise with them.

But never consider them friends.

I agree with other posters, all of them throw bigoted views of Muslims in most conversations when Muslims are not in ear shot.

I caught a few over the years and confronted them to say it again, usual response is to stare at the ground and shake like a leaf.

However we should be united to face foreign internal politics. There are many injustices against all Asians which should be fight united.

Can’t the same be said of Pakistanis? I think it's a two-wy street.

Still, it’s interesting to hate a people in the abstract (I hate all Pakistanis, for example), but like individuals (that Mr. Khan is a nice person or Mrs. Massod is a nice lady, etc.)

I try not to hate people as a group. I follow the simple rule: be nice to me and I will be nice to you.

I cant trust them but would work with them this was in uni. Trust hard after seeing one of the hindu called Krishna or something got caught sticking his USB drive in another group colleagues computer and download all assignments. Then he was forced by group to plug in his drive and open file to show the cool assignments belonging to group member, which by the way was mixed such as Chinese, Pakistani, two Arabs. Further investigation proceeded where he had to open recent assignments so it could be scrutinized for plagiarism and passed all criteria for "you copied my work".

They be your friends bhai bhai but wait until he is moved up to manager due strong a ss licking then you find true snake uncoiling itself to expose his fangs.

Do Pakistanis do this yes some do if diff ethnic group you wont get the job if certain ethnic or you will be snitched on if you are certain ethnic.

What about diff race between two people like afghando and Pakistani oh yes you will meet afghando who will curse your background n country and romanticize about how they were rulers and advance until pakistan interfered.

I have had 99% very positive and lovely experiences. as friends, colleagues and fellow parents. mostly found them very courteous and friendly .

there are odd cases who would be bigoted assholes but its not because they are Indians but its because who they are as a person and any unfriendliness or hostility (if it can be called that) may wasn't of a nationalistic or religious nature.

I have seen videos shared on whatsapp groups where Indians gathered outside their own embassy are vowing to boycott Pakistani shops and restaurants and impose a social boycott of Kashmiris and Pakistanis as general in UK but I have yet to see any Indian following up with that nationalistic pledge.

indians are a BIG NO NO NO!...........Avoid them at all costs, even more than covid-19. Keep WELL AWAY from ALL of them. Just give them "yes" and "no" answers. DO NOT treat them like human beings. ALL other races/communities are okay to socialise/interact with but indians are a strict NO NO.

The first individual that I came to know was a Pakistani student/cabby. He was helpful and patient in the late hours to figure out my location. I kept my connect with him since then.

We interact with a lot of Pakistani and Nepalese in my area. Religious bigotry is among us, be it Indian or Pakistani. But I see them as individuals with that mindset rather than generalize whole communities.

Most of the Pakistanis I interact in professional field are well educated and has a dont care attitude towards what is happening in our countries of origin.. We avoid touching upon sensitive topics and behave professionally.

Lived and grew up amongst indian muslims. There is racism amongst the older generation however the younger ones do not hold such thought, just my opinion.
