Video footage available below. I am guessing the personnel with beards and relevantly darker, greenish uniform are Pakistani Army personnel.

Interestingly, this year's exercise was also fitted with an environment to integrate airborne infantry forces for their possible participation to counter-terrorism operations. After landing, they exercised in tunnels, trenches and buildings that was almost the same that the Land Forces encountered when deployed to Syria to fight against YPG/PKK and ISIS. Also, Search & Rescue and Natural Disaster Rescue Battalion were also present in the exercise undertaking humanitarian intervention role, setting up refugee camps.

PA needs to make it mandatory for at least special forces to be clean shaven. They're doing a HALO jump under breathing air. You don't get a good seal with beard. Also same goes for wearing masks under chemical attacks. << that is even more serious

Hi
beard has no effect on the things you have mentioned unless one knows how to wear helmet or mask properly. and special forces know it better thn anyone else.even SEALS and green barets/ delta keep beards.

Our special forces are encouraged to keep Beards even more , just as the US green berets etc are , apart from religion beards give you more protection on your face against cuts which could lead to infection , especially if behind enemy lines for extended times when no medical help is available
