We are not saying it is written in Qu'ran as such but it has become a symbol of Islam at least in the Indian sub-continent.... We all can argue how well the written word is followed but that would be a differs argument...

the problem is in our country such protest have no moral value only financial value and only vested interest. Being a democracy, there are flaws too. 90% of the agitation is to divert Anna hazre and ramdev's anshan and make people ignore it. Done and financed by our own leaders sitting in parliament.

Universal adult suffrage is part of the democratic system. I do not disagree to that. I am questioning the ignorance and the political drama angle which some members are suggesting here. Yes Muslim states use it to identify themselves but when the people come together and want to use an Islamic flag they use this.
