Pakistani civilians ranked 4th in holding world’s firearms

Don't worry, lad. Facts you don't like can easily be relegated to the dustbin of "fake news". It's quite easy really, even the President of the United States of America can get away with it.

Fact is as a Minority yours will be reported or likely to be before going in Fake News dustbin.

Mine wont.

So to Herr Drumpf. Deal with it

Population is high we dont need that civil defence training could come in handy during floods and earthquakes

Can you follow the sunnah in your country of residence like own military grade weapons while living in East London?

Firearm ownership is not legal in the UK. I still have equipped myself to protect myself and my family. I keep fit, I did martial arts training when I was younger and I box. No skinny jeans in my wardrobe....lol

My family have firearms in Pakistan, one for every male member, even the females have been trained to use them. I have fired them before but only as a holiday experience. Ony next visit I intend to get a licence and purchase my own pistol if I have time.

Doubt it, we don't get a line of ministers, politicians and media personalities bending over backwards to "protect" our insensitivity or religious feelings.

But I wasn't referring to "minority" issue to begin with, no Pakistani is safe.

Asalamu Alaikum

If you fill in the right paperwork you can get a firearm.

Yeah you have to be a farmer i think and all sorts of other things like that. There is no chance of a city boy getting a firearms licence in the UK.

This is what the guidance says;

Can anyone apply for a firearm certificate?
Permission to possess or to purchase or acquire a firearm will be granted to an individual who is
assessed by the licensing authority, the police, as not posing a threat to public safety and having
good reason to own the firearm. Organisations such as target shooting clubs, museums and
firearms dealers must also apply for licences if they wish to possess or use firearms. Persons
who are sentenced to a term of imprisonment of three years or more cannot possess a firearm or ammunition (including antique firearms) at any time.

In the UK they take firearms regulation very seriously since a school shooting back in 1996 i think.

Who said?

Get a locker fitted at home, join rifle club, then 6 months later apply for firearm license and as long as you have a clean record you'll get it in 3-4 months. Shotgun license is easier for skeet etc. Then buy a registered rifle/shotgun.

Rifles here in UK are not much more expensive than in USA. In Pakistan, rifles are just plain stupid money.

Handgun/pistols ownership is illegal yes.

Official disclosure: http://www.smallarmssurvey.org/fileadmin/docs/T-Briefing-Papers/SAS-BP-Civilian-Firearms-Numbers.pdf (PDF format)

Actual figures of Pakistan must be much higher as unregistered weapons are common in KPK and Balochistan ... Furthermore, we have a ban in Sindh on license ... Want to buy a pistol but right now its really difficult to buy it :(
This ranking encompass both legal and illicit firearms.

I sincerely doubt that Pakistan would rank 4th with legal firearms only; majority are not license-holders here.
