Muneeb Butt and Alia Bhatt are Kashmiri Brahmans.

Only Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan is half Kashmiri Pandit (her other half is German). Mahesh Bhatt is a Gujarati (Hindu Gujarati father and Muslim Gujarati mother).

All Bhatts are not Kashmiris Pandits. In fact most are not. There are Bhatts from Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Mangalore region too.

That aside, this movie was a titanic disaster. I am sure this Pakistani actor must have had massive regret and his wife is not talking to him.
