Bring as Many as you can, you need to change the mentality of people who are self aligned with 3rd grade automotive suppliers here... We have FAW v2 here, yet we prefer suzuki swift with no basic features..We should also talk to Korean automakers like Hundai and Kia. In Pakistan we need at least 10 brands to compete so the users get the best gig.
Because of typical "resale value" mindset of our awaamyet we prefer suzuki swift with no basic features..
Bhai, ab to chadi pehn kr b a jayen to ameen hai, khushboo to dur ki baat hai. We want to get rid of filthy suzuki and moron indus toyota.Renault Audi And Nissan
Aajao bs Khushbu laga k
Pakistan wants to shake up its Japanese-dominated car market and loosen the grip of Toyota, Honda, and Suzuki, whose locally assembled cars are sold at relatively high prices but lag behind imported vehicles in terms of quality and specifications.
Try to woo Korean, European and American brands too just finish this japanese domination
Do you think our leaders have brains or vision to even think something like that?Instead of building automotive united nations let target for the best..who can beat Germans in quality and innovation? Pakistan will benefit immensely by signing an exclusive deal with Germans
Of course only Germans themselveswho can beat Germans in quality and innovation?
The majority of middle-higher income population lives in big cities, not small cities. The first setups will be in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.Any newcomer must ensure the supply chain of spare parts in small cities, otherwise it will be fail, like many in past.
The success of Toyota and Suzuki revolves around easy availability of their spare parts.

Hyundai(Elentra and Accent) is fine for those who can't afford Toyota put it is inferior to Suzuki(made in Japan) but Kia is junk. I came from Saudi Arabia, over there you will find almost every car of this planet. My friend's father bought Kia after selling Toyota and he said that it was one of his worst decision, his Kia was brand new and he used to visit workshops weekly. Availability of spare parts of Toyota and Hyundai is same in KSA and yet people prefer Corolla over Sonata and Yaris over Elentra. We should also talk to Korean automakers like Hundai and Kia. Hyundai is fine but Kia is worthless. Pakistan should bring Mazda cars with proper spare parts availability. According to my experience Mazda cars are more reliable than Toyota cars but if Mazda's spare parts are not available then Mazda is a huge pain in the a**.Suzuki, KIA etc. are not bad. Here in Europe KIA is doing fine. Suzuki also sell their top models which are sold like hotcakes. Like someone said, government policies need to be revisited.
