What's new

Pakistan will buy 17 Z-10 helicopters From China

The issue is Pakistan and Turkish army bonding, engine manufacturer knows, a signing " a limit of collaboration" will exceed the cooperation between the two forces behind close doors. That's very clear Bahraini fleet of 129 will maintain and operate by Turkish forces. May be US has no problem, but Turkish are dealing with British suppliers of this US engine, they might have their own reservations about Pakistan.
May be after the MQM and RAW episode British thinking is different.

These are big company with their own business agenda. Hardly take influence from Govt, because they pay their taxes with honesty . Its like in Siemen Germany has lot of influence on contract, because they pay huge taxes to govt. And govt don't interfere in any of their business entities.

Still there is public out cry !!! Though what is really going to happen is in the Parliament... There is where the real power players would matter.:partay:

Abey Yaar.
Wake up and smell the coffee. Look at what is going on around you.Do you think Altaf and his alleged shenanigans with RAW matter a damn to the British when it comes to arms sale. The focus on India is because it is a huge market for arms and has much more cash than we can offer. For business opportunities as well, we neither have the energy to propel us nor the safety. The politicians are corrupt and there seems no sense of direction to the country. The country itself is great but what will you do if its administrators are idiots.YOU ALSO NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE CHINA FACTOR. I firmly believe we are in the right quarter but we need to hang on and develop the necessary regulations/quality of work and infrastructure to propel our economy forward. But for the forseable future the going is going to be very tough.

I don't care what the govt purchase. Turkish or Chinese. But whatever next helicopter gen we purchase in 10 or so years must have Pakistan partnership.

So see what China or turkey or whichever country is building next and become part of it. Then be able to export it.

Also we can make a lot of money if we go for budget airplanes. Because many countries sell top of the line jets, which is costly for countries in Africa, or Asia. So we can have a major market of airplanes, while USA Russia caters to expensive market.

Take a look at Boeing and Airbus. They're so big but they can't compete with budget small planes from bombardier and Brazilian company that they gave up on market!

Good choice. Say NO to AH-1Z Viper from that Viper Uncle Sam. :victory:The US only sells weapons to control other countries. The US does not respect other countries.

You are right, however I can confirm one thing for sure, as per my sources, the performance of T 129 was beyond expectation.
Fake news. Turkish members loves to post fake news to brag abt their weapons.

I think Vipers are important as it will compliment cobras ,Z-10 is quite a different platform and it will have different role so will be the Mi`s .All three specializes in there core areas

One of the clearest examples of this is Pakistan's purchase of Z-10 attack helicopters from China. China has already handed over three of the helicopters to Pakistan, according to US-based military affairs news site Strategy Page. The three helicopters have been provided to Pakistan in advance, to allow them to trial the helicopter. Pakistan will buy 17 Z-10 helicopters and before the end of the year, Pakistan will receive another two. Providing weapon systems at so early a stage in a deal is almost unheard of in the weapons trade and shows that China is keen to compete with Russia for customers. Pakistan is the first country to buy the helicopter from China.

Aw man, Only 23mm? Damn, We'll suffer from the same problem we have with the Cobra again.
By the way, those are Pakistani Taliban versus a Pakistani Army Aviation AH1F cobra.
The rounds have little fragmentation and no effect (other than the receiving end shitting their pants) unless it actually hits near the Targets, or the rounds are programmable and explode above the target...
Now compare the 30mm on the Apache:
