What's new

Pakistan, we would have easily won the 1996, 1999 and 2003 World Cups,” claimed Aamir Sohail .

If not for the hamstring Sachin would have scored century in 50 balls and the match in 30 overs.
Hehe, I think this was a bit exaggerated but I get your point. The Indian team was all fired up in 2003. Our performance as a team was also excellent as the only team that we lost to were Australia. Once in the group stage and then in the final. There were rumors that Ponting was on drugs and me being just 7 at that time, had this strange understanding of drugs that it gives you double the power lol.

Nope, cricket games are not fixed. Which cricketer would love to lose against its rival?

Coming to V Prasad bowling, he wasn't in his best of forms in the initial overs and thus Sohail got too overconfident.

no one is stopping him to build a time machine.

instead of going back 1000 years. just investigate the money laundering which happens now under guise of sports.

What is Prasad doing these days? Sri Nath was good at IT

Lol. Sohail is a known rabble rouser. Someone send medium pacer Venkatesh Prasad to answer him.

If anyone states that any country except the Lankans even had a sniff of a chance in 1996 - they need their head examined.

Lankans were underdog in 96'. No one expected to win. However they were firm favourites in 2003. Lankan team used to steamroll India from around 2000-2003. I still couldn't forget Jayasuriya 189.. was an assault...
