The All Parties Hurriyat Conference claimed on Monday it has been invited by the Pakistan high commission in New Delhi for Eid Milan on July 21.

The invite for Eid Milan comes after the high commission withdrew an earlier invitation for Iftar on July 4. According to reports, the invitation was withdrawn in light of a meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in Ufa on the sidelines of the SCO summit.

Further, the reports added Hurriyat leaders were told that the Iftar was postponed owing to a deadly heatwave in Karachi which claimed over 1,000 lives.

The meeting of the two premiers has provided a much-needed ice-breaker in Pakistan, India talks. In August 2014, India called off secretary-level talks with Pakistan following a meeting between Pakistani High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit and Hurriyat leaders from Kashmir.

Further, an invitation to leaders of Kashmiri separatist All Parties Hurriyat Conference, an umbrella of 26 parties from the disputed Himalayan state, to a Pakistan Day reception this year held by Basit turned into a media referendum on the Indian approach to resuming stalled dialogue with Pakistan.

The government has said PM Nawaz and Modi decided to resolve the longstanding disputes of Kashmir, Siachen, and Sir Creek through ‘back-channel diplomacy’during their Russia meeting.

It should be done and good decision

So meeting with separatists is a good decision? How about India arranging a meeting with Baloch separatists in Islamabad? @levina
Why don't you sit in Ganesh or Modi or Hardick's lap?

Beghairati bhi aik had Mein karni Chahiye .. Jab limit say bahir nikalti hai tou Chutiyapa kehlati hai.. Tou janab apna Chutiyapa thora kam kejiye.

Dhobi k kuttay wali position mein mat aiye.

Is Baluchistan a disputed territory?

Has India ever laid any claim on Baluchistan?

Now laugh on yourself.

India consider Kashmir to be part of India. Pakistan consider Kashmir a disputed territory.

You can not stop Indian mission in Islamabad from hosting a similar party for leader form Baluchistan.

You think they did not .... only that after the meeting most of the wanna-be separatists were never seen again :butcher:

But Baloch separatists do exist. Now keep whining...
Baluch separatists are already being hosted by "peace loving" Western countries.
Kashmir is a disputed territory, not India's part. FYI Pakistan considers entire Kashmir as it's part.

You seem to refuse to take the point. From the Indian government point of view, Kashmir is part of India. Hosting rebel group from Kashmir by Pakistan is no different from hosting rebel groups from UP. For Pakistan, Kashmir could be a dispute. It is not for India.

Baloch separatists want an independent Balochistan. If we can help Kashmiris in their struggle against India, why can't others do the same for Balochis? Again, double standards.

LOLZ. I do not understand these double standards and Munafqat (Hypocrisy) of Pak government. They are against India aiding Baloch separatists, but they have no problem working with Kashmiri separatists?

Pak government has been aiding these separatists for decades, both officially and through the back channels. And what's the outcome of it? Militancy, terrorism and war. Nothing else.
Your tiny brain cannot comprehend the difference between a disputed territory and non disputed territory or perhaps you do not want to understand the difference in the two.
Compare Baluchistan with Khalistan, Nagaland or whatever, its comparison with Kashmir is absurd and FYI India is no saint. India has been actively supporting insurgencies in Pakistan for a long time.

I only see goodness in this. We are encouraged to invite people for dinner to kindle love and mercy for one and another.

Means it's OK if you support insurgencies in Pakistan as long as it is not Kashmir.
