SU-35 - $75 million
EF - $114 million

Thus 40 SU-35s would cost $3 billion or Rs 32,000 crores PKR, less the infrastructure required.
40 EF would cost $4.5 billion or 50,000 crores PKR, less the infrastructure required.

Add the infrastructure costs, weapons requirements and aircraft life cycle costs and one can add another 30% to the above!
That's a lot of dosh!!

If PAF has the money, its to be seen if the money will be used to buy second hand F-16s. There was also a story of second hand Mirage-2000's. That also requires money if its not a hoax.

Now is the episode of buying new SU35 or EFT aircrafts. This obviously requires money as no one else will give loans like China.

Then PAF will be needing money to buy J-31 or TFX.

Unless the PAF AWACS has detected few Gold or diamond mines in some areas of Pakistan to pay for all these aircrafts, its all talk and discussion.

Getting sick and tired of this. The news clippings, the offices they are quoting, arent these the same which "confirmed" U214s for us as well. Remember those times?

I am not saying that we are not buying or we are buying this and that. All i am against is how people are making things certain with this little in hand! How we are being so "Sure" that we are buying eurofighter or su35 because the same office that confirm u214 is being quoted by the same sources again and here we are falling for all that crap once more. you have said to me that you beleive in this report because the russian were also saying that, you do remember that right? do i need to look that link of german ship builder with there ceo saying that u214 are confirmed and only paper work is to be signed now or you remember that as well.

frankly, it is quite useless debating with you anyway however what i care about is you do not mislead all these people and when you quote things as certain it is like lieing IT IS NOT CERTAIN. we may buy them but how can you temember that MAY and give the news as if you have already signed the deal and sorted out the details? it is quite childish.
