What's new

Pakistan Tested NASR missile

Tidbits:
1. As explained earlier, the test series involved separate test & training launches of the same system.
2. Maneuverability is no longer merely a theoretical capability. Passive BMD avoidance is now a standard for Nasr.
3. The minor range extension is a by-product of trajectory optimization via maneuverability.
4. The training launch with camouflaged units signals the induction of the system in the SFC.
5. Again, scheduled tests have nothing to do with the geopolitical situation of the region.

Thanks for the response bro. But was it close enough? Or within acceptable range? And can you tell if it had a warhead?
Yes it was close enough. In other words it hit the target all 3 of them did

Why Asif ghafoor is writting like sarak ka ghunda on twitter? cringe
Because now ISPR is not just spokesperson but the propaganda arm of Pakistani Armed Forces

. .
Launched at different trajectory angles but damn all strike with some accuracy.

. . . . . .
Damn that beauty, launch, accuracy
That launch is awesome, doesn't it looks like we have increased it's launch speed!
:pakistan:

Wait a Minute what ISPR means by Anti Missile Capability also there ?

Passive BMD How that works ?

.
A SAM system you mean that is now?
Nope, it just means that it can execute evasive maneuvers to avoid any incoming ABM.

Passive BMD How that works ?
No!
Since the evasive maneuvers are not reactive (meaning the system cannot detect an incoming missile and evade it 'actively'), it is rather passive in nature (meaning it executes a fixed set of maneuvers before hitting the target precisely)

CONGRATS Bhaion on this big achievement :pakistan:
Did they increased it's launch speed?

Neighbor would be like: Boss mane app ko nola kia ha:blink:

BMDs, Air defence systems predict the location of the incoming projectile based on its past/present trajectory, then launch the interceptor. If it keeps changing its trajectory it will be difficult for the defence system to predict its future location, making interception difficult.
