HYDERABAD: Leaders of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) and its allied parties have distanced themselves from Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) call for countrywide protest on Nov 25 and said they were never part of TLP.

Speaking at a hurriedly-called press conference at the local press club on Saturday, Khalid Hassan Attari, Imran Soharwardi, Allama Jawad Raza Barkati, Allama Muharram Din Qadri and others said that they condemned hate speeches by TLP head Khadim Hussain Rizvi.

They demanded immediate release of activists of Tanzeemat-i-Ahle Sunnat, a conglomerate of various religious parties including Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, Darul Uloom Ahsanul Barkat, Dargah Syedna Sakhi Abdul Wahab Shah Jilani Trust and Paigham-i-Mustafa.

They called for stopping crackdown against their parties and said that around six activists of PST and other parties had been arrested by Rangers and police since Friday night soon after the arrest of TLP chief.

They said that they condemned hate speeches by TLP chief and terrorist attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi. They had always remained staunch supporters of Pak army and never used objectionable language against institutions of the state, they said.

It is very dangerous move I not know whether this video is real or fake but govt should be very careful when dealing with such people it may result in civil war in Pakistan

You do know you can buy this set for 8000 in bazaars and what not. Still. (Not big bazaars)

I do understand there might be some elements but nobody at the end of the day want to stand against their own country.
Because the day this nation is gone, not even these fools will have a footstep in this world.

Great news. Now let's hope action is taken against other traitors too.

1. Madarsa network which is being used to create terrorists. No government, not even Musharraf followed through on regulating these places.

2. Leadership of ANP who have made a career of spitting poison against Pakistan.

3. PTM who is also a foreign funded anti state group. Let's hope the government stops adjusting seats with thier favourite set of traitors.

4. BLA who not only spit venom against Pakistan but also attack the state. Leaders sympathetic to it are free to act against the state and there hasn't been a concerted military action against them.

5. Liberal media whores who act against the state and have made a career out of supporting anti Pakistan elements.

All these groups mentioned existed long before TLP and have been the ladlay of the establish and previous governments. Let's hope we now see some consistency and the end of all elements who intend to harm us internally.

This encapsulates the fundamental problem that Pakistan has made for itself. It does not matter if the soldier is fake or not. We don't know. In fact it is very possible he is genuine. The real problem we have in Pakistan is what comes first -

  • the state
  • or those who claim custody if Islam
And the army has become aware of this problem. It has been slowly trying to develop a more seculare nationalism that resloves this issue.

The kind of Pakistani nationalism that is now on such prominent display on the TV screens, in the social media and on the streets has its origins in the military campaigns against the Pakistani Taliban over the last decade. When the army launched its first serious offensive by moving into Swat in 2007 it was shocked to discover that some of its men reportedly defected. Even though the numbers were small it was, for senior officers, an extremely worrying development.

It's obvious in ki b Phut gayi with recent TLP crack down.

Also it's as lesson for all those pdfians who were protesting against Supreme Court decision in favor for Asia Bibi. Overrated TLP and their fitna has been taken care of.
