Pakistan summons Indian envoy over unprovoked firing across LoC

Earlier on July 8 and July 9, the Indian envoy was summoned by the Pakistan Foreign Office over alleged ceasefire violations along the LoC, claiming that residents were killed due to unprovoked firing by the Indian security forces.

The Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh on Wednesday was summoned by Pakistani Foreign Office in a protest against alleged violations along the Line of Control (LoC) by the Indian security forces. Pakistan Foreign ministry spokesman Nafees Zakaria said the Indian security forces resorted to unprovoked firing in Baroh and Tandar sectors on Tuesday, as a consequence two civilians were killed and six others were left injured.

Condemning the ceasefire violations by the Indian troops, the Director General (SA and SAARC) Mohammad Faisal summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner and handed a letter of protest to the Indian counterpart. Faisal was quoted by PTI as saying: ” The deliberate targeting of civilians is indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity and international human rights and humanitarian laws.”

Urging India to respect the 2003 Ceasefire agreement, he also asked the Indian official to investigate the incidents of ceasefire violations across the LoC. This is the third instance this month when the Indian envoy has been summoned by the Pakistan authorities.

They can hide casualities from Public . . . But we reserve our rights to reply to any provocation . That four soldier casualties they have to admit bcz civilians were injured and actually first one to watch that car being blown into river .

That's an Indian specialty of covering up on thousands of casualties for a decade then reveal them once the water is under the bridge,
If Pakistan wanted to hide casualties, we could easily have said one or two soldiers were in the jeep, however it's another matter that Hanuman seems to evacuate all the Bharti bunkers before they are blown to smithereens.

India is suffering casualities and reporting ceasefire violation everyday while i have been watching Pakistani media and ISPR is mostly silent ... the only incident reported was 2 killed 13 injured tomorrow and that soldier killed ... while we have report even of today in Indian media
My simple question is why no reports from Pakistan ? They mostly skip 1-2 Days ? If a ceasefire violation is going on continously then y not report the same ?. Or its only on Indian side ?

Just because Pakistani members don't post every tweet or news break on ceasefire violations, doesn't mean it's not getting reported.

In fact Pakistani families are being asked to quietly bury their sons who come back in coffin boxes..

I love it the way your are getting a bloody nose.....it's called beat them and then blame them.

yes.. but Pakistan media can publish and celebrate fake news of 158 Indian soldiers killed by China... LOL
Yea, only Indians have the ability to capture Pigeons out of thin air, track fishing boats out of Karachi and then fight over who blew it up....observe Chinese satellites that have some how ended up on JUPITER,
Oh, not forgetting crem-dela-crem ....your mentor, Gobar Goswami, talking live to Dhouwd Ibrahim's wife.

'Inth ka jawab patthar se' is been given a totally new dimension by our armed forces. These usually happen when the casualties are huge, too huge to sweep under the carpet.
