I know, I was just commenting on the observation from last few years, Navy is suddenly getting a lot of new ships, subs and other platforms , compared that to past Navy was treated as step child of Pakistan armed forces.

You are correct, looks like Tugboats will be for civilian use then...civilian tugboat size and capacities are measured in Bollard Pull (BP) measurement, the three built in Bangladesh by one of our private shipyards for Chittagong Port usage starting in 2005 have 60 ton Bollard Pull capacity.

I did not immediately see the equivalent BP for these Pakistani craft. But bringing in SanMar was a wonderful achievement and will upgrade the yard practices for sure.

From 2005 to 2016, Western Marine Shipyard received 3 orders for 60 ton BP tug boats from the Chittagong Port Authority, Bangladesh. These orders were completed and delivered in 2005, 2014, and 2016.

More recently, Damen design tugs were built for our submarine base near Cox's bazaar (02 nos.) at another naval shipyard, KSY. These do have azimuth stern drives made by Rolls Royce.

People who are being pedantic, this purchase is due to the type and quality of the tug boat! the tug is capable of tugging large vessels and we clearly dont make em.

How about a amphibious landing ship. Make sense as Ex-Chief told that marines strength will be increased.

Lol my country of Bangladesh wants a LHD probably by 2030 , the Korean Dokdo class LHD is perfect I guess
