I know PAF is need of a new fighter plane plateform and they are looking into it keeping budget and other possibilities in mind but there is no concrete information regarding any particular choice and any possible deal so when you and many other fan boys post any news with so much surety of their own, makes one less credible when as it turns out to be yet another hoax/rumor.

PAF has operated f6(Chinese mig 19) and A5(Heavily modified f6) which was twin eingine.
What is the logic behind selecting j16 when we are pursuing j31 or any other 5th gen?

How about any source/detail/substance for that, in addition to FB screen-grab.

Whether like it or not an affordable,and sanction proof approach only comes from " Dragon " bucket ,
I think PAF should reconsider its western weapons always better approach,, and stick with chinese , turkish , and Ukraine if could for next several years to take advantages ....
We loss many time after loss decade and j10 speaculated deal .... jf 17 deal is good and bearing fruit now ,,,, but if we go for j10 right from beginning we could be in much better position then now , my humble thought not an expert ,,,,
Hope we could match our adverseries in timely manner

5th gen birds are not work horse due to several reasons, after they clear air space and air defence, heavy mutilrole birds will be needed to pond enemy troops, comand centers and Other key installations.

5th gen are spearhead but they will work with 4/4.5 gen birds to take on enemy.
