Pakistan confirms it has suspended talks, visits with US 'in protest' against Trump's criticism

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...nst-trumps-criticism/articleshow/60270248.cms

  • Pakistan will likely not engage in any open talks with Washington before prime minister Shahid Abbasi's visit to the US next month
  • Pakistan's senate has constituted a special committee to frame how it will react to what it believes is US bullying
  • Islamabad is also very sore at Trump seeing an expanded role for India towards peace in Afghanistan

. . .

Time will tell because we gave them world's largest embassy and even Afghanistan is building their biggest embassy here, why?? Why we are not reducing relations on that level.

Sanction spares and bring falcons to stand still and you will change the tune asap

Did we did that in 90s when we didn't had JF-17s?? Wake up from the sleep.

.
76 F-16's can be easily replaced by j-10 if sanctioned. Everybody knows that. So this shit won't work.

. . .
Untill the changes in the policy have been clearly outlined, one shouldn't fall for any smart talk.
'Pakistan ka Amreeka ko mun tor jawab' wala abhi koi scene nahi hai.
It is still unclear that what kind of signals have been recieved from China,Russia and Turkey.Untill that is clear,it's difficult to predict any major policy shift.

Unlike India which has to import even something as basic as the PC-7 (First flown in 1966)...Pakistan is either making or co-producing and exporting the likes of Mashak, K-8 and JF-17.
And lately it's been JF-17 and not F-16 confronting the IAF on LOC....

.
Impose 100 000 USD tax on every truck 500000 USD tax on every flight that passes our territory
Or shoot down a couple of fighters and transport planes. That should send a message

.
Still you are taking money from them!!!!

There is not even a single strong word against Trump for this. lol
You can't explain sunrise to a blind person.....there are demos taking place against Trump all over Pakistan...and the money that is being paid to Pakistan wasn't exactly meant for the call centers, it's mostly reimbursement for the logistics provided to US forces in Afghanistan.

On the contrary, I would welcome any such sanctions.

If I could, I would also initiate court martial proceedings for all those who were a part of the process to procure Falcons in 2005/06 despite bitter recent experience of Pressler Amendment and US abandonment. This was done despite a full fledged JF-17 Program.....the almost USD 3.0 Billion could have done wonders for JF-17.

And what happens, if the Americans stop the supply of spare parts (which would take quite some time, to exert its effects since common sense dictates that some surplus would be there) and even then Islamabad doesn't change its tune? Maybe, since we aren't in a state of war, the flying hours would be conserved so that the spares aren't required as soon and alternatives can be arranged, in the meantime. Maybe it would have the opposite effect of waking the Pakistan military top brass from their hibernation and their obsession with US specific hardware. What if this military hardware whose sanctity was previously respected due to agreements/terms of use, is now a fair game for reverse engineering by ourselves or our friends? Broaden your horizon, I must say. You must understand that the US President is essentially threatening the state of Pakistan and nothing of course is more essential than survival. See, what we are witnessing, is unprecedented. Islamabad is standing up to the American threats and coercion for the first time, surely our people have something in mind, no?

Sometimes, the forest must be lit on fire, for new life to grow.
