YES TIMES HAVE CHANGED N WE SHOULD NOW MOVE ON FROM BOSNIA ISSUES...

Pakistan and Serbia have enjoyed less than cordial relations in the past, better relations will help us build favourable opinion in Eastern Europe besides opening up another market for trade and investment.

What exactly they want to sale and buy ?

Maybe they want something from Pakistan, Maybe something Pakistan has which Interests them in making relations, Everybody sees their own profit in any connection B/w two nations, BTW it will be good if we start cooperation with them, Trade and economic ties would be better and some Defense Cooperation TOO.

A whole world of opportunities exist if we disconnect ourselves from this pan-islamism mentality..even new Arab leaders have given up on this rotten socialist ideology and have understood that they are doing no good to the world by donating dates and building mosques where there aren't jobs of their own citizens.

Take religion out of equation and we find that we are no more threatened by "evil yindoos" or "afghan commies". TTP, Talibans or AQ. No suspicion of nuclear proliferation and no incentive to engage in sale of national secrets. Things would be much more better for the good.

Take religion out of equation and that's it!! No life with out aim!!!
We as Muslims believe that Islam is a complete Code of Conduct for whole life here and here after. These is no point that our religion have not guided us in. The problem is not in following religion but in not following it properly and not understanding and implementing the core values of Islam!

Islam do not forbids business, rather trade is encouraged in Islam.

On topic, the new development in our relations with Serbia is good. We can get a lot to learn in APC and Helicopter sector particularly and do have a lot to offer in return as well!

Follow any religion and accept the true meaning of it, you will succeed. All religions talks about peace and prosperity its the mistaken meaning that results in anarchy and chaos.

You are right about implementing the core meanings of Islam. It extends to other religions too but most of the people don't want to see the entire picture and find the meaning of their religion.

If a person can't find peace in one religion because he/she is not trying then it will result in same outcome if he/she tries to find in other religion. The perception and understanding matters the most and religion is like any other binding force.

@topic
So instead of religion been taken put of the equation, one should use this religion in correct form to find more common grounds and hence work in cooperation.

The question is what does Serbia seek from us in military co-operation ? Exactly what are they offering us ? Are they interested in buying any Pakistani weapon ? :what:

Anyways , a welcome development !

Exactly ... Twist the meanings/interpretation to suit your agenda and it will become opiate for the masses resulting in destruction !

On the contrary we can learn alot from their T-84 MBT modernization. Also study APC BOV-M86/83 like you said other than that They have russian aging equipment.

I'm not sure how many mig-21s are operational or in operational condition but if they are PAF could help in upgrades similar to israelis have done to mig 21-2000 standards.

How much perfection you have got to achieve that Islam is a lifetime "code of conduct"? So far no one has been able to implement this so called perfect "code on conduct" but ended up going back to stone age in persuit of doing so. It always starts at a young and ripe age. Infact the TTP, AQ, Lal Masjid etc menace is nothing but striving to enforce perfect "code of conduct" on the en-masses. The fact that through out history, illegitimate force has been required to impose this perfect "code of conduct" disapproves its acceptance to enmasse and when friction turns into resistance there will be violence.

The fact is simple, the so called "code of conduct" lives in the heart of individual as his commitment to Allah. The code of conduct TTP/AQ/Lal Masjid/ Jamat is trying to enforce was drawn up my medieval mindset humans to serve their own greed of power and feel like an emperor - not God himself.

Remember the first fraction in Islam the so called Shia-Sunni divide occurred not over religious difference but as a political power struggle of accession. The three caliphs earlier died on job due the very same nature of power struggle. Today a few fasadis try to find excuses in 14 centuries old conflict to settle scores on the streets of Iraq and Pakistan.

What is taking Pakistan backwards is that our national affairs are in the hands of mullahs, jamatis and deoband or tehran sympathizers each of them chasing his mirage of historical goals preached by their particular mullah / Ayatollah. The well being of Pakistani citizens lies with in the boundaries of Pakistan - not in Tehran, Medina or Baghdad.

Sir, please this is not the right thread or forum to debate religion. If Serbians are interested in establishing ties with Pakistan, what is the problem we have? All of us know the role of Pakistan during Bosnian war, if Serbs have came forward forgetting the past, i think we should warmly welcome them. We should avail any opportunity, which lies in establishing a defense deal with Serbia. :pakistan:
