ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and South Korea are likely to agree on commencing the feasibility study on Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries.

Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan, who is currently visiting South Korea, would be meeting today (Wednesday) with his counterpart Yoon Sang-jick, Minister of Trade, Industry & Energy, in which the entire gamut of economic relations between the two countries would be discussed including the commencing of feasibility study on FTA.

Khurram Dastgir during his two-day official visit to South Korea had back to back meetings with chairmen and presidents of Korean trade organisations and Korean conglomerates including executive vice chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), chairman of Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), director of Asia-Pacific, Africa & Middle East Group and director of Overseas Policy Coordination Team of Hyundai Motor Group, CEO of ECOONE, chairman of Lotte Group, chairman & CEO of Korean Air and chairman & president of Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-sure). Moon Jae-do, Vice Minister of Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea (MOTIE) also called on the commerce minister.

In these meetings the minister gave an exhaustive briefing to his interlocutors informing them that the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had successfully dealt with two main challenges of terrorism and energy crisis and Pakistan was now open for business.

The minister underlined the government’s far reaching measures of regional connectivity especially through China-Pak Economic Corridor and the tremendous business opportunities it was creating for foreign businesses of which Korea could also take advantage. Korean corporate and business leaders deeply appreciated and thanked the minister for briefing them and expressed keen interest in boosting trade and investment ties with Pakistan.

Oh so, here we have a [HASHTAG]#Patwari[/HASHTAG] who says Gen was seeking help from PM during Zarb E Azb. I believe PM Nawaz was not even ready for Zarb E Azb. What about National Action Plan? Military Courts? Karachi Operation? You can see a tension on Nawaz's fore head for it.

Youthia Gen can't save the country on its own.Yes he can destroy it which our wafadar generals have done it in the past successfully. In Zarb e azb also PM Nawaz called APC for consensus.Other political parties have some reservations on that if u remember.Militery courts issue PM said in APC "we have to agree on it now I am providing u the written draft.read it.We can not afford to loose time now"..So come out of Army general syndrome and see the reality. If Army General is so much powerful then why they want parliament to stand with them.Army says that without peoples support no army can win the war.So political support is very important.Musharaf also did so many operation but what happened? He failed because people were against him and don't have a political legitimacy.

Nawaz Sharif was not in a mood to conduct Zarb-e-Azab against his fellow terrorists.. It was COAS who took the decision after Karachi airport attack. Moreover, It was COAS who had been to Afghanistan at least 3 times during this operation. Please stop giving him the credit.

Yea and a democrat can save the country by sending a peti of mangoes to the enemy country who at the time is roaring at you. A democrat like Nawaz Sharif can save the country by ordering your force to withdraw from captured enemy positions back in Kargil War when you are about to win it just because US and India said to do it. A democrat like Nawaz Sharif can save the country when there 1200+ deaths in Karachi and the PM goes to visit, appreciates Sindh Government and K-Electric instead of punishing them.

A democrat like Nawaz Sharif orders his mob to attack the Supreme Court Of Pakistan back in 1999 and than dis owns it despite of the video proofs and all the media. and much more.

If this is democracy, I am good with that evil Dictatorship. I won't even like to spit on this democracy. Lets see who favors my opinions.
