Rustech: Mi-35 deliveries to Pakistan will begin in the year 2016

Director General of State Corporation Sergey Chemezov Rustech reported on the signed contract with Pakistan to supply Mi-35. Requests for Mi-28 helicopters from the Pakistani side were reported.

DUBAI, 9 Nov-RIA Novosti. Delivery of Mi-35 in Pakistan will begin in the year 2016, told reporters on Monday the State Corporation Sergey Chemezov, General Director of Rustech International Airshow Dubai Airshow-2015.

Dubai Airshow is held from 1989 onwards, with the assistance of the Government and the Emirate of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and U.A.E. Defense Ministry. Its subject is the armament and military equipment of the AIR FORCE, air defence, space technology, civil aviation and technology. This year's air show takes place from 8 to 12 November.

"The Mi-35 contract with Pakistan, we have signed, deliveries will begin next year," Chemezov said.

He added that requests to supply Mi-28 from Pakistan.

Russia is yet not trust worthy. Mi35 is not a trouble for India but Mi28N is....... they can easily sabotage the deal or even force Russia to put sanction on Pakistan in case of any conflict.

Pakistan followed a mature approach of proceeding with two different gunships from two different axis.
AH1Z Viper deal automatically rules out T129, since source of both Gunships is NATO and you cannot afford any restrictions on your entire arsenal of Gunships.
Similarly WZ10 deal will rule out Mi28 deal as we will follow a sanction free and easily available chopper against a risky one.
In case of Russia our co operation will remain limited for secondary armaments like engines, weapon systems etc, neither we not they are in position to provide a top Russian military machine...... This trend sure will change, but not now. It will take time......
