How will you counter this deal ? The Chinese are already committed to building some 8 N reactors for you .All untested ones & not proposed to be built in PRC at all.How many more will they build for you ? 8 or 16 or 32?

Given India's needs , we have plans to set up in excess of 32 Giga watts of N power stations across the country in the next 3 decades.That too is a conservative estimate .You seem to be a good guy .So , I'd let you on to a not so open secret. which is India will continue to diversify it's sourcing of N reactors from all over the world except the Chinese , seeking advanced N technology in construction of reactors & re processing technologies in order to bolster our own indigenous N reactor manufacturing programmes .

Having said that , the spent fuel will be re processed here & in all likelihood will be under our own safeguards instead of IAEA ( that was one of the sticking points in the negotiations between India & Japan for the nuclear deal .I believe Japan finally accepted the Indian position though there's no confirmation on this .)

You know what this means .A bigger fissule material stockpile .Which your nation has prevented by stalling talks on the FMCT.It suits our agenda too.But you don't come out looking the good guy in the world's eyes due to your objections to the FMCT.

Quit seeking parity with us.Be happy with what you have . These are more than enough to meet your needs.

You are surely very ill uninformed. Let's first get one fact straight. China has access to the best nuke tech from no
less than Western sources! Anyone who doesn't know this basic fact shouldn't argue. China has excellent nuclear designs which are also based on the best available technology money can buy. For you to say that their tech is untested is just pure baloney. Get your facts right.

As for Pakistan, we sure as hell are going to make sure that we have sufficient capability to match Indian nuclear stockpile. How are we going to do that? LOL Is that so difficult for you to fathom? Those 8 are just a start. You think that 8 is where it stops? Discriminatory Indian nuke deals are giving Pakistan a free pass to have more nuke deals with China. It is very simple. Our nukes are India centric and as long as India keeps building its stock we will simply ride along. Pakistanis are learning economic GDP might and strong democratic values are WORTH far more than chinease supplied missles on pak nuke warheads.

Alas ! It's the truth.We simply can't afford more N reactors .Japan isn't going to underwrite them like PRC does yours.Pakistan is simply the most happening & exciting place ever since the CPEC was announced. You're truly lucky to be present at such a time
