Pakistan Punjab Assembly approves resolution to make Guru Nanak's birthday a public holiday

. . . .
It does make sense.Pakistani by default mean that they aka the sikh will feel closer toward majority of the pakistanis than indians
If they feel closer towards Pakistanis then why did they choose India? I only need to ask the Sikhs in the UK who they feel closer to. If anything, they are closest to Punjabi Hindus.

. . . .
Good initiative. Time to give other minorities such as Hindus and Christians their holidays as well. It's their birth right as being Pakistani.

But Nankana Sahib - is in Pakistan - today, is it not? And there was no country called india in 1439 either.

Whatever, there wasn't anything called pakistan in 1439 when he was born and when he died as well.

There was thing called Punjab which still exist to this day. Pakistan is combination of 5 provinces, and its combined history as one.

More Sikhs visit Golden Temple than Nankana Sahib. Majority have never been to Nankana Sahib which is quite sad.

.
Yes there was. One that Columbus was looking for ;)
