It is. From your own link just the see the percentage difference of exports and imports between Pakistan and USA and Pakistan and China. You will understand what i am talking about. With China we are facing a trade deficit and free trade agreement has further widen the gap.

We don't need to have relations with the US to continue to trade with them or the rest of the world for that matter, China and the US see themselves as rivals, well certainly the US does but still continue to have trade with each other, we can do the same while wholeheartedly going to the Chinese bloc if we haven't already.

We have suffered enough being a friend of the US fighting their wars for them on our home ground whether it be the Afghan war of the 1980's or the present day war that Pakistan was dragged into by the US at gun point, the greatest blunder we ever made was to participate and help in converting the bipolar world of the past, helping in freeing the eastern European states and converting the world into the single polar bloc of US imperialism that we have today, that state cannot be trusted in any shape or form, China, Russia and Turkey are our natural allies while the US would again sanction us when we will need them the most or maybe threaten us again by blowing us back to the stone age.

Proud nations like China never forgets the wrong any nation does to them like the un-equal treaty (opium war), they fuel that dishonest, unethical and criminal act of betrayal to pick themselves up and say never again would anyone take advantage of China and sell our people, culture and civilization, only slaves with a slave mentality and a slave world view would still continue to want to have relations with a state that threatened us to blow us back to the stone age.
