The presupposition in the above statement is that this is news to the Americans who constructed the package -- these packages were put together during the Musharraf regime and the only people to whom this is news appear to be Indian "newspapers", which seem more like propaganda outlets, I am embarrassed to say.

The misuse of funds is probably because a few guns were outdated and somebody said what the heck... a few million here wont be noticed. And off course UN sanctions.. Like we haven't been into them before. And corruption isn't anything new, get over it.. should I remind you of the bofors scandal. Make a valid attempt at pointing out a problem. Instead of Attacking our country just out of contempt because some poor misguided kid along with a few of his fellows snuck in on a motorboat and held your largest city hostage for two days using a Kalashinkov and hand grenades.

A little correction here this arsenal is not building with the help of US money. If one have money it has each and every right to spend.

And the 18 F-16's and associated weaponry are with Pakistani money, as are the Swedish and Chinese AEWC's, and the F-22P's, and any possible future submarine acquisition.

All Pakistani money - so what exactly is this 'misuse'. No one has been able to really point it out, other than canards about 'US gave Pakistan ten billion'.

What ever the US aid given to Pakistan is not enough. Pakistan should be given multiply 3 times more aid. I do n t even call that aid from US we earned it by providing supply root for American(It’s kind of a deal eg when providing root for gas line through Russia to Europe). The day Pakistan close America supply roots American are finish. American should be thankful to Pakistani.
