Kashmir dispute can be solved. Just won't be on your terms. India will part with no territory, peace with Pakistan can only come with some minor variation of the physical status quo. India wants peace with Pakistan, it is the asking price that is left to negotiate. No such thing as peace at any price.

That leaves US or China to support Pakistan.

If someone India and China also become same side, then US cannot do anything from so far away for Pakistan.

It could mean added pressure on Pakistan to change its extremist policy towards India.

Though it would be better for both countries if relations improve.

Apart from its demands? What logic can you or any other Pakistani offer as to why India should humour you? What exactly do you want which you think is realistically feasible for India to give? And why should India do that? What do you have to offer in exchange?

This holds good for the Kashmir question as a whole or the Siachen dispute in particular? What do you offer?
