Two years drama has been ended as as planned in sell off strategy of Kashmir. Now nation will enjoy peace after forgoing Kashmir and chant PA zindabad

No need to be nice to them. They've locked Kashmir down, have trouble in the East, internal trouble etc. It's time for pressure.
Did they hesitate during 71? There's your answer....

. .
Accepting ceasefire on LOC means we are ok with the status of Kashmir?
IMO this is a bad decision and sends a signal of weakness from our end. We should have simply refused accepting Indian terms of ceasefire by simply saying Kashmir is disputed and without a just solution under the resolutions of the UN, can lead to peace or ceasefire.
We have to keep in mind that India has no problem accepting the status quo, it will continue to do so because it benefits them. We on the other hand cannot agree to current status quo that also includes ceasefire on the LOC.
Whats next on the agenda, maybe reinstating the ambassador, opening up trade?:disagree:
Army under Gen Bajwa has showed nothing but cowardice. It is now apparent that there is no will left to fight. We are more happy with plots in DHA and other army owned businesses.

. .
So nothing worries about kashmir situation now.. we have practically accepted the indian amendments

This is the better solution. Otherwise firing at each other could lead to escalation and it is so backwardish. You either fight each other to the end or you don't

Agree that shit was against professionalism and specifically between two nuclear countries exchanging tit for tat was a poor taste on behalf of both states. You commit to conventional warfare or you accept full ceasefire from each other.

Lets be real India and Pakistan haven't been in full blown war for more then 50 years that is half century. forget the small skirmishes the truth is both countries are not in open conflict. So it makes sense if you are already in state of no-conflict with each other for such a long time it is best for both sides.

If there is no conventional conflict? Then there is no reason keeping a hot border it doesn't serve purpose

The strategic acumen of folks in here. :) But I suppose it’s all fun and games, when they’re not the ones in line of fire and giving up lives in daily bouts of tit for tat useless, made for internal politics, CFVs.

The main beneficiaries of this 'agreement' will be the residents on our side of the LOC, as it's far more populated than the Indian side (mainly because they occupy the majority of the heights) and the IA used to specifically target AJK people out of spite. Just wondering what particular development resulted in this, because relations and the situation has been very tense for a prolonged period for it to change so suddenly.

The situation will remain tense, it’s just a ceasefire. It doesn’t mean there’s suddenly peace between Pakistan and India as being read here. Besides, China isn’t going anywhere - so the situation will remain tense for the foreseeable future.

The Director Generals of Military Operations of India and Pakistan held discussions over the established mechanism of hotline contact. The two sides reviewed the situation along LOC and all other sectors in a free, frank and cordial atmosphere.

In the interest of achieving mutually beneficial and sustainable peace, the two DGsMO agreed to address each other’s core issues / concerns which have propensity to disturb peace and lead to violence.

Both sides agreed for strict observance of all agreements, understandings and cease firing along the LOC and all other sectors, with effect from midnight 24/25 February 21. Both sides reiterated that existing, mechanisms of hotline contact and border flag meetings will be utilized to resolve any unforeseen situation or misunderstanding.”

those who are commenting negatively first need to answer that ceasefire violations started from our side .... ??

After Galwan incident who was in more need of ceasefire at LOC ..... ?

Who just 2 year back was planning to attack and capture AJK & NA of Pakistan ..... ??

Who in his parliament gave official statement about the Aks-e-Chin and Gilgigt Baltistan anf AJK ....???

Who used to claim about 56 inch *** .... ???

or Claim about infiltration as the basic reason for ceasefire violations from their side ..... ????

Some people just don't have self respect and ready to curse their ownseleves at the blink of eye without even thinking for a second .... ???

So these type of people need to just shut the **** up and wait for new round of exchange may be within a month ....

Well let’s see.
I have a feeling the pressure from China in the east has some part to play here. They’ve sent much in terms of men and material.

Feeling pressure ? Are you sure?
Ok lets just track the situation.
Started around April and peaked at around August during Galwan clash.Pakistan had enough time and reason to take decisive action in the border against us .Theortically you can say we were stretched.
But this ceasefire happened after Indo Chinese disengagement.
And if you ask me , we dont have anykind of pressure both external and internal.
Internal is just entertaining political drama.

So we can disagree to your conclusions.

First PLA runs back to Finger 8
Now this...

I am enjoying the epic meltdown. ;)

You are literally making peace with everyone now, Modi was saying only a few months back there can never be peace with Pakistan. Now you suddenly feel the urge? When India faces world condemnation and a real possibility of two front war, no more big speeches from 56 inch chest?

What was all that talk of invading AJK?

Of striking Pakistan soon?

Hollow Indian military is very thankful right now, like you
