Well i agree with that guy now that u post nonsense, id say its utter BS. Putin has time to visit 52 states, does that mean the 53rd is less important? Maybe this visit can be his most important and it already feels because we can smell the cowdung burning next door.
Also we are not like the backstabbing stupid indians, who jumped in US lap without blinking. Pakistan will have relations with all and have a balance in relations. In central asia there will be a balance as well between China Russia and Pakistan.
Feelings are mutual.dates are still not confirm, so its too early to expect he will visit.
The reason is not just Indias importance, but the really strong diplomatic whining and complaining done by India against Pakistan over any improvement between Pakistani and Russia relations - So India pulls Russia on one side (very tightly), and a similar coercive pressure is applied on Pakistan from US side. So your statement of Pakistan just being a 53rd or so country for Putin makes no sense - as it will be a first ever visit by a Russian head of state and despite billions of dollars trade with India and Pakistans dependence (which still exists if you look at trade figures) on West - if a visit happens, it would show Pakistan to be extremely extremely important for Russia - and certainly not the idiotic trivialization Indians like you are doing. And besides it would be fun to see Indians like you scratching your head “But India Shoo Important than Pakistan , we buy su30 s400 etc etc ?!?!”I am not a follower of Soviet-Pakistani relationship. I would guess zero even if you include the USSR
if Putin has the time to visit 50 odd countries out of 200 in the world it implies one of two things
1. pakistan is insignificant to Russia
2. India is far more important to Russia than Pakistan
if you can draw any other conclusion let me know.
I can see with India-Russia relationship slipping as India keeps drifting to Western bloc. Does this mean Pakistan exploits the opportunity ? Not necessarily.

if Pakistan is extremely important to Russia the visit would have happened a long time ago. Putin has had time to visit states of great geopolitical significance like Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Croatia, Jordan, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Slovenia. There is no point arguing over this since it is not clear Putin is even coming in the first place.

Like I said there is diplomatic pressure on Pakistan as well as Russia (such as Indians like you saying to Russia “we more ImPortant sar” ) - thats why relations couldn’t develop. And when they do develop, the significance wont be like Jordan or Tajikistan - All those countries you mentioned don’t have a whiny nosy neighbor like you.if Pakistan is extremely important to Russia the visit would have happened a long time ago. There is money to be made here.
1) Take the middle east for example. Millions of subcontinent workers are employed in the persian gulf. Yet there is no high speed rail link which connects Dubai with Karachi/Mumbai. Most of these workers are low income workers. They would prefer a cheaper train ticket then to fly to their homes. The agri products which are flown from the sub continent to the persian gulf, can simply be sent over rail.
2) The closest sea to central Asian countries is the Arabian sea. There is a huge demand for oil/gas in the subcontinent given the large populations. Rail link and pipelines will happen some day.
3) Iran pakistan and india pipeline will be made some day - again the demand in the sub continent is too great.
4) The minerals in Afghanistan will be extracted.
The question is who will do all this? China, Russia and the West are the three parties with funds. Only China and russia can do projects in war zones.
The US/West can have its own infrastructure initiative (similar to china and russia) as the british prime minister proposed to Biden.

Pakistan Gears Up To Host Russian President Putin Next Month
After a long time, Pakistan and Russia are strengthening bilateral relations. Pakistan and Russia signed a fresh agreement to lay a gas pipeline between Karachi to Kasur. Also Russia is keen to sell arms to Pakistan.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited Islamabad in April after 9 years. Lavrov came with a message to strengthen ties between both two countries.
Now an official tour of Russian President Vladimir Putin is on cards. The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has already extended a formal invitation to President Putin
Putin was scheduled to visit Pakistan earlier this year, but his visit was delayed due to the COVID pandemic.
This was announced by Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in an official statement
In the light of Pakistan's recent tension with the United States over CIA bases in Afghanistan post-withdrawal, the scheduled visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin has become even more crucial for future regional alliances.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov toured Pakistan in April after 9 years and apart from other bilateral issues, Express Tribune and others quoted sources inside Pakistan's Foreign Ministry that Sergey has offered a diplomatic ‘blank cheque’ on the behalf of President Putin, implying that Moscow is ready for any kind of cooperation with Islamabad, whatever Pakistan needs.
Last month reports came of Russia Pakistan signing the agreement of building 1100km long Pakistan Steam Gas Pipeline Project worth 2.25 billion $, anticipated to haul 12.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas every year from Karachi to Kasur. The initial signing of the agreement happened in 2015 but the project was postponed for several untold reasons.
The intergovernmental agreement signed in 2015 had proposed 100% of the building to Russia while the revised model suggests 74% stakes for Pakistan. What's important that Pakistan has opened to this project despite the risk of U.S sanctions on Russian companies. The groundbreaking of the project is foreseen to be held later this year or in early 2022. Apart from the economic significance, the project also holds considerable strategic value for Pakistan.
Pakistan and Russia are also closely negotiating and observing the Afghan Peace process which will also be on the agenda of the planned visit of the Russian President.
Russia has been reluctant to sell arms historically owing to its close ties with India but experts have also signaling for a policy change in this regard, considering both armies have been conducting joint exercises since 2016. Russia and Pakistan have come a long way since the Cold War and the Afghan War era but how long? That's what we are about to find in the due visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
