Yeah quite likely. But after such a long time these guys are finally sitting across the table once again with none of the self imposed “red lines” issued by Pakistan. You rattled all the sabres you could these last couple of years. Did India renege? Did our position suddenly soften? All we did was double down — with no one batting an eyelid and Pakistanis writing a 100 letters that went nowhere.

This is a much needed reset. More for Pakistan’s benefit than India.

1947 agreement of allowing the poeple of Kashmir the right to choose denied by the so called democracy called India.

Both Pakistan and India are part of SCO. I am against any meeting with india before Kashmir is free but this is SCO anti terror meeting. Pakistan can either attend the meeting or leave the organisation, I am sure the conditions must have been set for India and Pakistan before they were accepted as full members. India will also attend SCO meetings in Pakistan.

Kashmir solution is only freedom for the Kashmiris from Indian occupation. However if both nations want peace then move both armies from Kashmir and give Kashmir autonomy so they are free to live their lives. Free border movements etc. Pakistan will agree to this but indian terrorist military will not.
