Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made a brief stopover at Chattogram airport on Wednesday.

Information and broadcasting minister Hasan Mahmud received the Pakistan foreign minister, Pakistan high commissioner in Dhaka, said in a Facebook post.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made the stopover on his way to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to lead the Pakistan delegation at the 29th ministerial meeting of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), a regional forum, being held from 4 August till 6 August.

The two ministers during the meeting also exchanged books of each other’s country as gifts.

The Pakistan foreign minister stayed for around 40 minutes at the airport, the Facebook post reads.

Did you check this fuedal thoroughly?

Well Bilawal fulfilled his duty in businesslike manner, though a bit informal.

Though protocol-wise, our artificially coiffed FM Momen should have been the one meeting with him, not the information (propaganda) minister.

Ask him why his grandfather was so much against the Bengalis and denied them their rightful mandate

The neutrals made him do it. :-)

This is a PR disaster for Pakistan. People of Bangladesh have all the rights to carry resentment against Pakistan, ideally both Pakistan and Bangladesh should reconcile and look forward to a future of friendship. How is that possible if bhutto’s grandson is going around arrogantly like that..

Z. Bhutto was invited to Bangladesh during Seikh Mujibs time. Where are you coming from.

What exactly was the point of this non-visit visit?
What did Pakistan possibly gain out of it?
Reason #127 as to why Hina should have been FM instead of this trust fund kid.

Aur "hug" bhi dey chuka.

This overture (rapprochement with Pakistan) IMHO cost Mujib his life. Indian RAW saajish.

Just a formality to Bilawal. For now.

Absolutely right bro!

Mujib never wanted the breakup of Pakistan because he fought to create Pakistan. Jinnah was his hero.

Mujib wanted a loose confederation like the EU.

But the cruelty of the Pakistani military started a domino effect that made independence inevitable.

Mujib never liked Hinduvta. His dislike of Hinduvta is well documented in his own words.
