And Harm will be in range of SAM too, also these SAMs will be deployed with SR SAMs and CIWS.

Hi,

Don't reply a KNEE JERK reaction---. First check out what the ranges of anti radiation missiles are in IAF inventory---.

HARM will be launched by an aircraft, the LY-80 system has search radar with a range of 150 km .

hi,

Would you kids please use your brains before you post your KNEE JERK REACTION posts---.

Your posts states that the SAM range is 40 KM---. So what would a 150 KM range of the radar do other than allow the aircraft to launch the missile from 100 Km away and turn---.

Walikum Hi,
Rather than being all time critical of PAF, products and persons, do try a different approach sometimes.
Do all the countries only deploy long range missiles or every attacking aircraft will only be equipped with HARM missiles. Don't see Indian SAMs such as Akash, Trishul, QRSAM having any better range.

You think you knew every thing but you dont, there are tactics how to deal with ARMs and that is why layered air defence is deployed.

thanks for the tag , their missiles have shelf life which can be extended like in the case of crotale , It depends on missle it self how long it can survive but roughly we can say around 20-25 years
Hi my friend thanks for your reply so if we say roughly 25 years any idea when Pakistan bought
Them as per my understanding another 7 years max what’s your take on this
Thank you
