Pakistan film industry revival; No foreign film needed this Eid-ul-adha[2018] in Pakistan

For four decades when the ban was imposed your staple entertainment was pirated Indian movies, depriving us our due returns. Where was your shame then?
Piracy of Indian movies in Pakistan had nothing to do with the official channels, it's a pervasive custom that has roots even in tightly monitored socities. Many Indian films get leaked on internet by Indians, not anyone else, if you have to blame, pin it on your home grown malfeasance. But plagiarism without giving the due acknowledgement to the original content creator is a brazen act of stealing and taking credit for someones work is pure deceit. Besides, if some factions in Pakistan like Indian content, they don't hide it and when legal means are available they use them, not like Indians who are nothing but flagrant hypocrites.

In a way, it is better but still it is like old wine in new bottle..Content is almost same but now our kanjars have performed instead of the foreigners. But the same item-songs and same stories..
Content was always like this be it the 60,s or 90,s you just didnt see that does not mean it never existed
Bollywood wali begairti made in Pakistan kar k kia karnaama kia hai??
The producers show what the people want ofcourse some folks may get offended but the folks who get offended never watched a single film in a cinema to begin with so they can be ignored
Come on, there's no need to insult film artists and make derogatory comments about them. At the end of the day, if you want the 'item numbers' to end, the public has to show a preference for movies that lack them. The fact is that Indian movies with their 'masala' & 'item numbers' & 'sex appeal' sell in Pakistan, and they sell because Pakistanis want to see this stuff.

Don't blame the artists & film industry for pandering to public demand.
His lot only complains about local content when artists look outside they complain again its good to know his lot is being ignored

Is there a redressal mechanism to voice these issues? When none available then we are our worst enemies. For that to happen we have to find a way to talk and formulate strategies.

@my2cents

Rofl due returns!!!! Piracy is mini economy for many Indians. It helped globalize your pathetic film industry which for many years survived on 2 subjects, lost and found and poor boy meets rich girl[vice versa]. This also provided window for a cow urine drinking mob lynching hindu taliban state wher every 80 seconds a rape happens.

In early 80s till 1991, Pakistani dramas an soem Punjabi movies were hugely popular in India and viewed by many. Starting 1990 Hindu terrorist groups started attacking video shop owners and pushed govt. to stop viewing of PTV [dish channels were being launched and indian interests needed blockage of Pak content]. Indian Govt. installed towers to mask signals to stop this. I'm sure if Indian govt. had wished theywould'nt have let moveis come into Pakistan, so your hypocrisy and bullcrap does'nt stand as piracy helped you.
