Pakistan experiencing economic rebound...Oil sales increase rapidly

With a rapid increase in economic activity Pakistan will have to import more oil to meet its demands. With the record sales of automobiles and ever increasing demand for oil in power generation we may experience even bigger import bill. Even coal based power generation is becoming very expensive due to huge increase in international coal prices forcing power generators to look at the oil once again.

There is no way we will ever remove this curse of imported oil unless we start to switch to EV and renewable energy sources. This government did introduce some policies but like every other past government is too dependent on making money off taxes from oil and gas and seem to be moving too slow to switch to EVs.
