Pakistan Education Score 2016 (primary Level)

.
The figures given in this report are leaning on the positive side. The report counts education in Kohistan over 30% when actual figures are 10%. It gives us hope but I do not know how factual the data is.

True. Thats the real problem. The literacy rate includes anyone as educated who can merely write his name. I wonder what the parameters of this education score is but I expect the same half-baked literacy level for these people.

.
Balochistan is in a dire need of help and Sindh is too far behind it! And since the figures are always exaggerated no one can even guess their actual conditions

Inshallah Kohistan will also have same literacy of Islamabad one day
That day may be millenia off.

Massive improvement in AJK :yahoo:
@Shamain @django @Jonah Arthur
Really happy for good gender parity in my region we need to replicate the same methods in low literacy regions
Why is Lahore not even in top 20?

@Moonlight @The Sandman
BUt why do Sialkot,Chakwal,Mirpur have higher gender parity than Islamabad?
The strangest and worrying thing is low gender parity of Lahore we assume Mardan has issues but its ranked higher than lahore
IT should be a wake up call for Mughal badshah of Lahore

AJK is close to taking no 1 spot :D
But we really need some solid investment in infrastructure of ajk and for that we need to relax alienation of land law so that non locals can invest

What is your view @EAK @django @Jonah Arthur ?

It is all about investment, at all levels, I remember going to visit Mirpur UST in 99 , no bunsen burners , no comps, only one comp with internet access, lecturers with jaali qaulifications who were bamboozeld by not so complex physics, shame, things have steadily improved in education sector during mushy time though, lets hope it continues.

Like I said things improved during mushy period, and yes their are some very talented and bright people who attend these institutions, it is just that the govts have neglected the facilities.

Mubarak ho :D but Lahore's rank is too low :/
Lower than Mardan now that is just wrong and a worrying sign Chakwal at no 2 is a pleasent surprise must be the pehlwan rewariyan :D but check the gender parity score some odd surprises there
