Pakistan doctors live in fear after spike in deadly attacks

I don't think this is purely about terrorism. A doctor friend told me that although they are highly respected in Pakistan, patients families can get very threatening /violent when things go wrong.

So if I understand correctly, because it is not just doctors being killed or intimidated, but all professions, it is unfair to point out such killings.

As I said before, since all profession are being targeted equally, the situation is fair and does not single out doctors.

Majority of the killings are cases of patient-doctor enmity rather than a case of sectarian or religious extremism (witnessed 3 such cases myself).

As for the exodus of 9000 doctors, can't put all of them in the same basket and say they were all targeted.

Some leave for security reasons, some leave for better job prospects. A case by case breakdown would be interesting.

All in all, situation ain't all dandy, but it isn't as grim as portrayed either.

How can one go about determining the reasons for such an exodus objectively? Even the PMDC has said it does not record such data. Perhaps the Ministry of Labor may have some information, or the Bureau of Statistics? Does such a breakdown even exist?

A few incidents? Over 9,000 physicians have left to such "few" incidents. Potent motivator, this sense of responsibility for keeping one's own self and family safe.

They have left for better salary not due to bad security,see AMC doctors have to work even in battlefield ..

If India had not intervened, Pakistan would have been allowed to get away with its fascist ideology on the people of Bangladesh and Pakistan Army's crimes against humanity.

Perhaps that is true. However, most actually do pretty well within the low tax environment in Pakistan too, so that cannot be the only motivator.

Very recently, there is news on Indian aid workers stalking on helpless minors in Nepal. A thread was posted too. Humanity! You forgot to mention their humanitarian work in Sri Lanka. Jokers.
