KAMRA: Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain has said that Pakistan’s defence industry has developed potential to export defence equipment to friendly countries and international markets.

“Pakistan certainly has the infrastructure and trained manpower not only to meet its own defence requirements but also to undertake joint ventures”. Tanveer Hussain added.

He expressed these views during a visit to Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra here on Tuesday.

Tanveer Hussain added that Pakistan’s defence production has started to mature, and Pakistan plans to enhance its defence exports.

The Minister appraised the overall structure of the factories and their production capability there.

“PAC along with other Defence Factories and Establishments are not only meeting the country’s defence requirements but also exporting their products to other countries,” he added.

Federal Minister was received by Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex. Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence Production Major General Raza Muhammad accompanied the Minister.

The Minister was taken to the Avionics Production Factory where he appreciated efforts of skilled workers and technical staff involved in the project of the most prized JF-17 Thunder aircraft.

Minster for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain assured PAC of all out help in getting their problems addressed.

Chairman PAC Kamra assured that all valuable suggestions and points raised by the Minister will be implemented soon.

Give PAC the money to produce JF-17s Block-II and about 100+ of them and also to pay back for Block-Is to China, more over additional money for work on JF-17 Block-IIIs and K-8 Block-II.
