IN Rome do as the romans do. If they were clearly mentioned that they should not pray in a particular mosque and can pray another mosque, why did they disobeyed it ? That mosque was a controversial mosque. Sentiments of locals must be accepted.Mosques are supposed to be open during the Friday prayer time..
I don't get what this whole fuss is. I mean a Mosque is supposed to allow anyone to come in, pray and leave. Was the mosque abandoned or closed when the team went there?
They shouldn't have disobeyed the instructions, but there's no need to make such a huge religious controversy about it.
As for all the Hindus on this thread, saying stuff like this:

Yes I agree with that. That is what I wanted to say.The local Muslims were scared of Buddhist terrorists who may have later attacked them for allowing Pakistani team into the Masjid.
Our team should have complied with their request and gone elsewhere.
