The US has said that Pakistan continues to be a safe heaven for terrorists, describing it as common threat faced by both the countries and Afghanistan.

"Extremists and the safe haven pose a challenge and the sanctuary that they continue to enjoy in Pakistan, but the Pakistani military has taken action against some of those extremist threats inside their own country," Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby said.

The US wanted to continue to work with Pakistan 'to deal with what we believe is a common challenge and a common threat faced by both our countries and by Afghanistan, as well', he said.

"It is important to remind everybody that they, too, have taken casualties in that fight, so it's a common threat. We don't always see eye-to-eye on how to address it. That remains to be the case today. But what's different today is that we have better vehicles for dialogue and cooperation with the Pakistani military that we continue to enjoy and want to and continue to improve," he said.

If Pakistan pull his hand from War on terror US will not found any place for hiding in Afghanistan :pakistan:

That is Press Trust of India having some fun with the title of the article. Kindly bring the original source of article (along with the original heading in tact), or get ready for some retribution.

ooh don't say that!!! do you know pakistan military got unprecedented modernisation due to WoT. look at your military. each and every modern equipments are the result of your involvement in WoT. 30 billion military aid is not a small figure. starting from BJ of your Sf and army to the NVGs are from your uncle sam. musharraf was afraid to say no to US when US asked pakistan's support in WoT. pakistan is supporting ISAF only because you don't have any other choice. "if we don't support them they will turn against US and send as into the stone age" musharraf said this to his generals in 2001 if you google it you can find this.

Press Trust of India. Enough said.

And very very selective quotations. @Lil Mathew use a bit of your brain before you launch a thread like this.
