Many times your Mullas have told that Movie is Haram. In Afghanistan Where Sharia was implemented Movie is Haram, In Kashmir Mullas ban the movie..

Film is a large medium and people inspired from movies ... Especially Indians ... This dialogue could provoke people to infiltrate into Pakistan ..........

LAHORE: Pakistan Censor Board has decided to ban all the movies of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan in Pakistan.

Saif’s controversial statement about Pakistan after the ban of his movie ‘Phantom’ in Pakistan has put him in serious trouble.

Few days back he gave statement that he has lost his faith in Pakistan and after since he has been under serious criticism by Pakistani celebrities and on social media people charged him too.

Pakistani actors Hamza Ali Abbasi, Shan Shahid and Faisal Qureshi responded his negative statement in a patriotic style.

Now Pakistan censor Board has took the decision to ban all his movies in Pakistan and this step has been appreciated greatly by people on social media.

It is to be kept in mind that Lahore High Court banned his movie Phantom on the petition filed by head of Jamat-ud-Dawah, Pakistani welfare organization.he was of the opinion that this movie contain false material against Pakistan.

Bans will kick saif hard on his balls. He is a b grade actor, havent tasted a solo hit since ages. Pakistan is a big market now for bolly wood movies.

Now producers will think twice before casting this idiot, as their film will not be allowed to screened in pakistan.
This means a loss of around 10 to 15 crore.

How many good multiplexes and movie theatres are there in Pakistan? How many of them screens Indian films? What is the footfall? Pirated DVDs and free internet downloads don't generate revenue guys, and revenue generating market is miniscule in Pakistan. What this deliberately created controversy did was to generate good free publicity in media and curiosity among the people in a market that matters, otherwise nobody would have noticed when a film like Phantom came and go.

However, now Hafiz Saeed is openly dictating policies in Pakistan, including what films common Pakistanis should watch....it seems Pakistan is heading straight on its destined path.

Indian movies prevailed even after thirty years of ban. I believe it was Zia ul Haq who banned Indian movie screening in theaters but allowed home viewing by your people on pirated videos. I guess he was aware of Indian cultural onslaught on your Islamic sensibilities but for some unknown reason allowed bootlegged copies of Indian movies to flourish. Maybe he was trying to appease both your public and mullahs at the same time.

Now with Internet and other forms of media it is quite difficult to enforce cross border cultural invasion. With the melting of borders, in this globalized world, you just cannot stop an idea whose time has come. It was Victor Hugo who said it quite eloquently some 100 years back but it is even more true now.
