Pakistan behind Kanpur rail tragedy that killed 150: Reports

Over 150 people died in Kanpur train tragedy, 14 coaches of Ajmer-Sealdah Express derailed in Kanpur leaving several injured.



In a shocking revelation, the Bihar police on January 17 hinted that Pakistan’s spy agency ISI was behind the Kanpur train tragedy that claimed lives of over 140 people and injured several others in the month of November.

According to various media reports, the Bihar police in its statement has said that the mishap happened due to IED blast. Some reports suggested that ISI paid goons to plant IED on the railway tracks. It is also bein reported that India’s primary foreign intelligence agency will also intervene to investigate the issue.

In what was termed as the worst rail tragedy in the recent times, 14 coaches of train no 12988 Ajmer-Sealdah Express derailed on 28 December at Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh.


The incident took place at about 5:20 am in the morning between Rura-Metha which is 50 kms from Kanpur. Rescue teams were rushed to the spot and the injured were taken to the nearby hospital. However, the cause of the derailment has not been ascertained as yet. Prime Minister Narendra Modi even tweeted saying that he was “anguished beyond words”.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu took to Twitter to announce that he was personally monitoring the situation and medical assistance was been provided to the injured. Suresh Prabhu further affirmed that Ex gratia would be provided to the injured and that the government had directed CRB and other senior officials to ensure every kind of assistance.

Basically hide every ounce of incompetence and wrong in India under the guise of " it's all evil ISI" for God's sake Bihar is located extremely far away from Pakistan and is far closer to Bangladesh. I shudder to think the amount of blame we would be receiving if there was still east pakistan.

It will harm India more if it says ISI is involved without proper investigation and evidence. Bihar police is known for its incompetence, unless national investigation agencies agree with Bihar police, I will take Bihar police claim with pinch of salt.
