I would rather see India be a rich but more unequal USA, Russia, Canada , UK or even China than be a poor but less unequal Pakistan or Nepal.

That causes great resentment, racial divide and civil strife. All three are quite lethal for the future of any state.

I'd go with more equality and then raising standards proportionally.

Equality at this stage of development means that Pakistani economy is indeed in problems. Pakistan needs more billionares and business class.

What matters is the amount of convertible currency or gold deposited in the national banks.

From that perspective

China is way ahead of everyone in the region with almost 4000 billion dollars equivalent.
S korea and Japan and Taiwan are next (with deposits ranging from 600 billion to 1000 billions)

India used to be pauper but they have made great strides. Now their deposits have reached 300 billion dollars.

Pakistan is way way behind in "real convertible wealth" with deposits in the range of 10+ billion dollars.

It is time for us to get serious about generating and acquiring real wealth in dollars euoros and gold.

It is time to consider local currency as worthless only to buy few little services within the country.

Rupee income equality in both India and Pakistan is useless marxist concept that is not as $tupid as other commie leftie economic ideas.

We shouldn't strive for income equality. We should make sure that all the citizens are treated the same and quality education must be available for all. Then, it's upto that individual what he'll make out of his life.
