Pakistan asked India to share any information it has on the 2001 attack on the Parliament and the Lashkar-e-Taiba terror group so that Pakistani courts can examine the material and take action.

"We have been saying this repeatedly that whether it was Ajmal Kasab, or the attack on Parliament, or the role of Lashkar-e-Taiba, if they (India) have any credible information, they should share it with us so that it could be presented to the court, and let the court decide about these cases," Foreign Office spokesman Moazzam Khan said.

Khan was responding during the weekly news briefing to a question about Indian allegations about the involvement of Pakistan-based groups in the 2001 attack on the Parliament and the recent hanging of Kasab, who was the lone surviving terrorist involved in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Pakistan has acknowledged in the past that the conspiracy behind the Mumbai attacks was hatched on its soil.

The trial of seven men, including LeT commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, arrested for involvement in the Mumbai incident has been hit by several delays.

India had blamed the Pakistan-based LeT and Jaish-e-Mohammed for the attack on its parliament.

In response to another question, Khan said he was not aware of any petition being filed in the International Court of Justice regarding the torture of Capt Saurabh Kalia and Indian soldiers during the Kargil conflict of 1999.

"All I know is that we keep receiving requests from the Human Rights Commission in Geneva, and these requests are referred to the concerned ministries for appropriate replies.

"On this specific issue, I can check and get back to you," he said.

Replying to a query, Khan said Pakistan is glad that "finally justice was delivered" to scientist Khalil Chishti by the Indian Supreme Court.

"We sympathise with him for having lost so many precious years of his life waiting for justice to be done," he said.

Indian Supreme Court this week acquitted and set free 82-year-old Chishti, a Pakistani scientist who was accused of involvement in a murder while he was visiting his relatives in the town of Ajmer over two decades ago.

If India shares info, it will lose the political mileage it strives to achieve from such incidents. Pakistan needs a different approach.

As if something will happen if we share information!!

This para says it all- instead of proofs they send dossiers- and expect us to take action-
If kassab or any other is clearly guilty why not have a joint investigation- such behavior like indians have shown always points to something they want to hide-

They wanted to investigate headly asked amrika permission granted- case solved truth out- when we ask for the same with kassab or lakhvi they reply us with flat faces- and general dumb indian emotionaly fragile indian public is so naive they show blind eye to this attitude- hypocrites-

As if something will happen if we share information!!

You assumed that based on what?-
I see you as taking the easy way out-

Pakistani courts can never decide on terrorism cases. The threat is real, not only to the judges but their family members too. No one will have the guts to convict any terrorist for this reason.

If you think I'm talking through my hat, just look back at the cases against the Mumbai attackers. How many judges have quit under threat? Why is it taking so long? Why are there adjournments at the drop of a hat? Why are judges hearing the case transferred? Judge Shahid Rafique of anti-terrorism court number 3, was the fifth judge to hear the case since proceedings began in early 2009 before he was shunted out!

So, is providing info to Pakistan of any consequence? It would go the way of all the corroborated info provided by India to Pakistan on the 26/11 case. Either all the info is not being provided to the courts by vested interests in the Establishment, or the lawyers/judges are too apprehensive to take the issue to its logical conclusion due to pulls, pressures and threats from various interested quarters.

What justice Pakistan's Kangaroo courts and Rehman Malik et al be able to provide on issues related to terrorism on Indian soil.
They should deliver justice for their own victims of terrorism first.

Best Pakistan will do, give it a whole new twist for delaying the course and earn PR brownie points by just doing lip service with cunning smiles.

There is no need to share any information with Pakistan, a dossier sent to ministry and evidence shared with free food muncher visiting delegation will be declared null and void in their super courts.

We know your trend Pakistan.

lol what pakistanis want to do by asking info. from India.
do they want to know how much Indian intelligence agencies knows the inner working of ISI and Military terrorist machines.
they will compare Indian info. and match it with their official records just to know how much capable indian agencies are. :D

Good morning Pakistan!!
So finally it has dawned upon Pakistan??

And what good will it be to share info 13yrs later??
