PAKISTAN ARMY INDUCTS NEW ARMOURED CARRIERS FOR COUNTERTERRORISM OPERATIONS

Rip Humvee…. Iconic symbol of illegal wars

Even though this is clearly more armoured and made for war. The humwee still looks tougher than Chinese. This new thing has a lot of sleek looking lines and doesn’t look as beefy as a humvee

they think Army top brass is useless and doing nothing.
You can't blame anyone for having these views when the Army leadership continues to violate the constitution and meddle in politics and continues to play 'King Maker.

Respect and trust is earned, and a lot of the respect and trust earned after Musharraf (Kiyani +Raheel) has now not just been squandered, but is probably at one of the lowest points in history.

They are a Humvee copy so that is their job - base protection
Why is base protection a larger priority than protecting soldiers from ambushes and IED's while patrolling in high conflict zones in Balochistan and ex-FATA areas?

Unless the statistics have been hidden, attacks and casualties while patrolling are significantly higher than attacks and casualties on bases, at least in the last several years.

You are talking tooo much sense. No desire to derail this thread but it is Aug 30 2022. Mir Bajwa been in power since Nov 2016 and he's promised to never ever fight India and do his best to avoid war with them - the brave lion that he is. Isn't it fair we give some protection to the poor soldiers fighting against Doval/Modi/AMit Shah sponsored terrorist in KP and Balochistan while the terrorist planners sit in India safe from any harm? Does anyone think this induction is "right on time." Alhumdulillah happy to see this for our soldiers along with the armouring of the hilux and inshallah drone use but anyone who thinks this is "just the right time" needs their head checked. Inshallah when the next IK gov comes with 2/3 majority there must be parliamentary reviews of the shahadats and maiming in almost identical manner of our brothers in these fronts and who is responsible for it and the delays getting these and other tools to protect them. I saw more outrage in the media about the 5 brothers who were shaheed because of no heli help (bc poor weather etc) could get to them than the many who died in Balochistan in their base who waited hours for help while fighting like the real lions they were.

where would they have gotten manpower and khaam materials to produce 300 within the space of one year? from khan e ahzam' tree tsunami or his ehsas program? mujh ko qarza lai do main drakht laganai he, main health card daina he taa k deezal or doosron ko boy supply kum nah ho, new taliban be to paida karna he bhai. cheen ko bolo 6 J-10 kaafi he baaqi naqd raqm dai do. jab humarai log tax daina shuroo kaarain gai to main tum ko hathyar b lai doon ga aur tankhwa bi ziada keoon ga
well you just churning out crap and nonsense .. but i love that it has caused that much hurt to your glory exit :D ...

Fact of the matter is that army establishment is hooked to importing things just because it gives them a margin to earn quick bucks ... 3 years tenor is too less to fund RnD and get a product built at home... you can't earn commission with home made products as quickly as from imports

You didn’t pick up sarcasm.

EQ2050 is Chinese Humvee copy. USA used Humvee as static MMG/HMG positions for base protection.

This CSK-182 seems to come ahead from a prototype of EQ2111 series or EQ2101series. It’s supposed to be a MRAP which Humvee and/or Chinese EQ2050 are not. It resembles the JLTV Concept. So the role becomes different too.

As for the members blaming military for every problem in their life - Military is doing and will do what it needs to do. Respect and trust of military is being earned by the ones being saved from floods currently. Many more occasions will come in future also. Circumstances never remain the same, that’s the beauty of life.

Hummer, the off-road vehicle that once was a symbol of America's love for hulking trucks, is now in the hands of a Chinese heavy equipment maker.
General Motors Co. and Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Corp. finally signed the much-anticipated deal to sell the brand on Friday, according to a joint statement issued by both companies.
Tengzhong will get an 80 percent stake in the company, while Hong Kong investor Suolang Duoji, who indirectly owns a big stake in Tengzhong through an investment company called Sichuan Huatong Investment Holding Co., will get 20 percent.
He also is the controlling shareholder and chairman of Lumena Resources Corp., a Hong Kong listed mining company.
Financial terms were not disclosed, although a person briefed on the deal said the sale price was around $150 million. GM said in its bankruptcy filing last summer that the iconic brand could bring in $500 million or more.
The person did not want to be identified because the terms were being kept private.
The investors also will get Hummer's nationwide dealer network.
GM and Tengzhong said in a statement that the transaction still must be approved by U.S. and Chinese regulators.
Hummer, whose smallest model gets 16 miles per gallon in combined city and highway driving, sold well until the middle part of this decade when fuel prices began to rise. Through September, GM has sold only 8,193 Hummers in the U.S. this year, down 64 percent from the same period last year. In September, only 426 Hummers were sold nationwide, according to Autodata Corp.
GM, which spent 40 days in bankruptcy protection during the summer and has received about $50 billion in U.S. government aid, plans to sell its Hummer and Saab brands and scrap Pontiac and Saturn as it tries to streamline its operations. The company wants to focus on four core brands: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC.
Last week, auto dealership magnate Roger Penske's bid to buy the Saturn brand fell apart just before the deal was finalized when a contract to make vehicles was rejected by the Renault board.
In June, Sichuan Tengzhong announced that it had a tentative agreement with GM to buy the brand, which features large off-road vehicles that initially were developed for military use.
The consumer version of the Hummer H3 and H3T pickup are assembled at the GM plant in Shreveport, La., which is slated for closure no later than June 2012. The larger H2 was made under contract with South Bend, Ind.-based AM General LLC, which also makes military versions of the vehicles. The workhorse military vehicles used in Iraq and Afghanistan are not a part of the deal.
The deal with Sichuan Tengzhong has long been expected. The Michigan Economic Development Authority in September approved a $20.6 million state tax credit over 10 years for Hummer to build a headquarters in the Detroit area.

HIT is doing the right thing by upgrading armour of these pickups. This is analogous to different upgrades of different generations of MBTs in PA service. Just like T-59-II serving along side AK-I, but in different formations. Low tier to high tier. The scarcity of numbers will be fulfilled for infantry through USA MRAPS, up Armored Pickups and Chinese light Armored 4x4.

How many Maxxpro have inducted since the US withdrawal??

300 Units is a great starting figure , figure need to be around 10,000 Units
based on Army size of 500,000 to 1 Million Soldiers

Some way to go get to 5,000-10,000 Unit Mile stone

In ideal circumstances when financial flexibility exists
