Pakistan Army acquires Eurocopter Fennec

Pakistan army has recently acquired six Eurocopter Fennec AS550 U2 light weight multipurpose military helicopters. Eurocopter which is now also known as the Airbus helicopters are light weight helicopters military helicopters and can be used for many different purposes. There are different variants of the Eurocopter having single engine and twin engine options. Different variants of the similar helicopter is being used by Argentinian Naval Aviation, Brazilian Army Aviation, Colombian Navy, Royal Danish Air Force, French Air Force and French Army Aviation, Royal Malaysian Navy, Mexican Navy, Royal Thailand Army and Indonesian Army. Now Pakistan Army Aviation is also a user of the eurocopter AS550 as six helicopter are now already in use. According to reports Pakistan Army has further ordered for 20 AS550 C3 which will be delivered soon. Indian Army also order the similar helicopters but later their deal was canceled because of corruption charges. The helicopters are named after Fennec fox which is found in the Sahara in Northern Africa. These helicopters are equipped with forward looking infrared (FLIR) cameras which are used for imaging and can sense radiation emission. The helicopters can be fitted with machine gun, rockets and torpedo which is a self-propelled weapon and carries explosive war heads

Any thing that will help out PD is good.

I am worried about attack helicopters, MI 35 to support or to replace cobra, in either way is not the right choice.

Well I thought jetranger might be some sort of old lightweight multipurpose military copter since the new one is- I couldnt find it in PAF inventory wiki page-

Btw is it comparable to Indian dhruv?-
No,Dhruv is multi role chopper with more capacity for passengers and is also armed while jetranger is only a recon chopper.
