Pakistan and China sign agreement to build Metro Train in Lahore

Good project specially for the future as people from all around Pakistan is piling up in lahore. this is surely for the future must say Shahbaz Sharif have great vision. with in 7 years He made Lahore a great city!
But as seen in the pics transport situation n karachi seems more than worse there should be urgent metro bus atleast for the people of karachi. Federal govt cant do much about it as the provincial govt subject have the budget for local development feds cant do much about it . feel sorry for karachities they r stuck with ppp/mqm, n the mean time i thank to Almighty Allah we dnt have ppp here in Punjab. I hope situation will change there in next term hoping ppp wont be n power!

O bhai kya baat kr rhy ho Mustafa Kamal ruined Karachi... all the project was started by Naimatullah Khan and complete by Mustafa Kamal he took all the credit of Naimatullah khan... The Karachi mass transit Plan is there which also includes Karachi circular railway... if they start that project today you have to demolish many flyovers in Karachi...

karachi is a law less city a billions of dollar metro cant be risked on the hands of angry mobs who burns buses almost on daily routine , first need to settle down political crises and political influence from karachi then need to stabilize the city for foreign investment and other projects .

Karachi need metro more than any city .. but Sindh govt is busy in Corruption but fed. Gvt wont interfere , because it may be not in their version of Pakistan ..

Metro train, expressways etc everything was planned and paid for but then the ppp govt didnt continue them. Other than that the tragedy of karachi is that mqm wins it but fails to make a provincial govt in sindh and ppp for its loss in karachi ignores it

Why does pakistan award the contract to chinese companies without competitive bidding..?
Is it because that the chinese companies will inves in the project also..?
but what do they get in return...as investment profit? This profit can be very costly to public---without compitive bidding...

Brother have you heard about BOT (build-Operate and Transfer)??? Chinese will build it Operate it and then after a period of time they will Transfer it to Punjab Gov... Obviously subsidy will be given to the passengers
