Pakistan adds home-made fighter jets to airforce

Actually those are 50 planes in 5 years, at a rate of 10 planes per year, to gain experience I hope, since at this rate the 200 planes will be completed by 2030! or if the aim is 250 than by 2040! which sounds a bit too far for a 4th generation fighter. The potential is for 25 per year, meaning that with gaining much experience, the 200 remaining airplanes can be inducted in around 10 years from now, so that be by 2025 which seems more likely at a rate of 20 per year.
Maybe Pakistan is looking to induct only 150 JF-17s, which makes it still more likely, at a rate of 10 per year that will come about by year 2025 also. So, it will all depend on how many replacements are needed and the urgency perceived, but might also depend on outside orders too.
Money wise it sounds very economic at $1billion in each block of 5 years or $200 million a year for the production of 10 airplanes.
150 Jf-17s will cost a total of $3 billion spread on 15 years. One can not get more economical than that...

Thats what i have been thinking. They definitely need to speed up production.

. . .
Here is the list of countries that are currently interested in Jf-17 block 2.
This is all based on in the inquires from these countries.

1) Nigeria (Interested in 25-40 Jf-17 block2)
2) Bahrain (interested between 12-18 Jf-17 block2)
3) Egypt (Joint production)
4) Saudi Arabia (Joint production)
5) Sri Lanka (interested between 6-8 Jf-17 block2)
6) Myanmar (interested 8-14 Jf-17 block2)
7) Bangladesh (interested in 8 Jf-17 block2 to augment Squadrons #8)
8) Zimbabwe (shown interest)
9) Morocco (shown interest)
10) Algeria (shown interest)
11) Kuwait (shown interest)
12) Qatar (shown interest)

It's a win-win situation for all 3, Pakistan, China and Russia.
Pakistan can manufacture majority of the plan
China can provide technical know how, also Radar and Avionics.
Russian can provide the Engine (Klimov RD-93) or better.

. . .
speed of production will depend on

capacity
requirement
time interval for development of next block

lets assume pak can produce atleast 20 per year
requirement is also there
how much time will it take for block 3 to come? if it takes 4 or 5 years then there is no use in building 50 block 2 in 2 years and wait for next 3 years.....
if required number of aircrafts in block 2 is raised then production can also be increased i think..

. .
We really need 3 Production Factories
it all depends on the foreign orders....talks in the final stages with Nigeria, and 6 other countries. If Nigeria does order one squadron than other countries will follow. If that happened then Pakistan will have to increase production from 12 to 20-25 planes per year.

How difficult is it to set up another assembly line? Surely if we potentially have export orders and domestic procurement the production rate is woefully short. Another assembly line will no doubt double up and economies of scale factor. I know it's no as simple as it seems but we need to churn out these babies
