My dad used to really make me angry when he would say X or Y was better just cuz it was IMPORTED. Didn't make an ounce of sense.

So how do you expect our exports to grow?

You must make something in order to export. Govt needs to do their job to regulate imports and put heavy duty in order for Pakistani industries to compete. Pakistani industries have stopped making things and instead import and put their logo on it....a friend of mine had a paper factory and was making Tissue, napkins and toilet papers. He recently sold his factory as a scrap because he was not making any money since he had to compete with cheaper Chinese products so he now is importing from China and selling it in local market. There must be countless other examples like this. China is your friend deosnt mean you allow every crap from China duty free.

CPEC might make Pakistan an economic colony. Like the East India Co. A phenomenon I have brought up many times. Like China has done to Sri Lanka and a few African nations.

Think of it CPEC like a see saw. If Pakistanis put hard work into it and really negotiate with Chinese and hawkishly monitor CPEC then it will tip in Pakistan's favor. But will still benefit China.

On the contrary if Pakistanis continue to display lax, casual, non serious attitude and slave mentality in front of Chinese. Then it will only tip in Chinas favor and will not benefit Pak but harm us.

REMEMBER Chinese built a wall that has dead bodies in it.
