India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has said the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on intelligence sharing between Pakistan’s military intelligence – Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) with Afghanistan’s National Directorate of security (NDS) was based on wrong assumptions.
“What Pakistan wanted was to take assurance and pressurize Afghanistan that they will not allow their territory to be used for any security related work by India. That is the crux of it. This is based on a faulty assumption that India probably uses Afghan soil or Afghan nationals for its security purposes,” Doval quoted by Indian newspapers said.

Reports regarding the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ISI and NDS emerged last week.

Sources privy of the development said the two intelligence agencies will share intelligence information based the agreement and jointly fight terrorism in the region.

Ajmal Obaid Abidy, spokesman for President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, said both parties and head of agencies from the two countries will sign the agreement once it has been finalized.

Responding to concerns regarding the agreement with ISI, the NDS spokesman Haseeb Sediqi said last week the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Pakistan is not against the national interests of the country and the agreement was concluded based on previous mutual cooperation between the two nations.

nope you din't understand onionji , in the past pakistan has used afghanistan for proxy wars against india , example is kandhahar hijacking , so our activities in afg are to counter afg from being used as a base to launch attacks on india.
So in that context it is for security purpose.

India should not be making statements about an bilateral agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan. This agreement is in mutual interest of both Afghanistan and Pakistan. India wants to continue and create instability and terrorism in Afghanistan Pakistan to meet its nefarious plans so it is protesting this agreement.

Nice try but the images of satelittes, intercepts and activity of 17 Indian Consulates in Afghanistan is a network of terrorism. India does not even have 17 counsaltes in the USA where millions of Indians live, so why 17 consulates are needed in Afghanistan.. India has been caught with their pants down and needs to be exposed buttt open

We have 2 billion humanitarian program in Afghanistan.You should havev such protected centres for coordinating relief efforts in the war torn country.You cant compare that with a developed nation like US
