Pak $15 Billion earning from Tourism, $40Billion Potential

. .
That's private water.

There are also private prisons in Sind.

It's all very adventurous.
🤔 I don't get it... how can water be private. Are the waderaas hoarding water now?

Build a gated area by the beach full of resorts with alcohol being served and host a party on a full moon every month, call it the full moon party Pakistan and invite a top DJ to host it.

Build more things to do in cities like live music lounges, arcades, bowling alleys, crazy golf etc. Why is it the only thing to do over there is eat? Make more fun.
A Disneyland for adults?

I mean I am cringing at the level of mental maturity here. Educated people around the world look at tourists as a problem with the noise, pollution, and crime that they bring. But let us just suppose only angels will come to Pakistan. Your country has been unable to handle waste in its biggest city Karachi. What will you do with the additional waste generated by tourists? I mean, how many tourists do you need to generate 15 billion dollars? If we get 1 million tourists spending $15000/- each inside Pakistan, that reaches 15 billion. Now your international travelers are already at around 14 million

That means a 7% increased stress on just your air travel infrastructure. Then there is roads, hotels, hospitals etc. Is your infrastructure ready for this kind of load? Then you have limited destination. How many people are you going to fit into resorts in the Northern Areas? They aren't even accessible all year around.

Then you have world media talking about Pakistan's role in Afghanistan and Indian media spreading misinformation. You have a diplomatic spat going on with the UK. And you Prime Minister has been on record saying women can get raped because of what they wear. You think tourists will come to Pakistan? How is anyone reading this thread with a straight face?

Then there is the pure dung headed, moronic nature of falling down to tourism. You don't have the intellect to produce and sell better clothes, better tools, better hi-tech products, so the zenith of your imagination is to try something where you don't need to engage your brain too much. This is a failure of leadership, and this is a failure of the followers who are brainlessly following this leadership.

1. Tourism is both internal and external.
2. If tourism is such a drain - why do states support it and advocate for it? It earns a HUGE amount more than the cost of a few extra people wandering around talking selfies.
3. We have infrastructure to support 220 million people. A few thousand extra foreigners a year aren't going to cripple anything. Do you really think the people travelling will do so without booking hotels, transport and having an itenary. Do you travel much yourself? How many countries did you show up to complete unprepared.

You're usually one of the few sane voices on this forum.

Why? Is that the tourism you want? It doesn't have to be. If you want cheap booze and Asian whores you go to Thailand, if you're feeling rich you go to Dubai. Pakistan has a unique culture, geography, history. Anyone who wishes to appreciate that is welcome - anyone who wants a resort holiday should try somewhere else. I can reccomend Sharm-El-Sheikh - very haram.

panama papers wale ayenge jab 2 percent bhi maaf kralenge amnesty se
wo dubai nhi ja rahy kya ???????? dubai is 2nd capital of pakistan after all
Tourists. You don't have to invite them. The video shows that earnings from tourism are up, Pakistan was ranked as a top travel destination in 2020, the hype will slowly get tourists in.

Baki logon ko choro, inshaAllah aglay saal main aon ga!
ap bhi badshah hai sir . can i have list of countries with tourism earning ???

The title is talking about 15 billion dollars. This will not come from internal tourism.

Sure, people will book everything in advance. I am saying will the infrastructure deliver? And then there are things you cannot book in advance. You won't book your taxi to Margalla Hills from America. You won't book your trip to the hospital because there is a chance you could get stomach trouble.

Next, we support 220 million people most of whom live in 3rd world circumstances. Now, of course there is tourism of rustic, laid back destinations, but there is no tourism for 3rd world slums. People visit France, America, China, and Japan but they also enjoy the first world facilities. They visit the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Brazil - and yes there are slums in Rio de Janero, but then they also enjoy the carefree atmosphere of sun, surf, and booze. The concept that people will come for tourism following our traditions to enjoy the slums we have - well that is just ridiculous. As I have already said, the number of destinations is limited.

Don't get me wrong, I have had executive express their desire to visit Pakistan someday. Some love the possibility of skiing, others are mad about cricket and want to watch a match in Lahore. But they are few. And I don't see how any of the problem I have listed have been addressed, or are being addressed.

It's got to grow naturally. Govt is doing bits and bobs, but ultimately the business community has to invest. The state can't be building hotels and resorts.

We needed dollars, like yesterday. Which is why I find these to be feel good threads created to hide the incompetence of this government.

Bhai, Google kar lo. https://www.atlasbig.com/en-us/countries-tourism-income idk how accurate these figures are, but it looks like Thailand earns 12% of it's GDP through tourism.

For the most part tourism isn't a huge part of anyones economy apart from small island nations, but it does provide jobs and income in areas we'll never industrialise. Raindrops fill the oceans.

idk, maybe it is just that. I like to read positive news too, life is not all doom and gloom. This forum is 99% doom and gloom, i don't mind the odd happy story.

Yes. we Pakistani people under-estimate African countries. Rwanda for example is trying very hard to promote tourism to their country. Their tourism board paid Arsenal FC £30 million to get their country advertised on their football shirts.

They are also on the PSG training kit, and their womens teams kit and advertising boards in the PSG stadium.

I don't know if you follow football but PSG are the biggest team in France (based in Paris) and Arsenal are a massive London based team.

Africa is not starving babies anymore. If we carry on like we do, they might be investing in our country rather than the other way around.

If anyone thinks tourists will flock to Pakistan when this is running on BBC:

well, they are only kidding themselves. It doesn't matter that the BBC anchor is trying to make the case for Pakistan. The fact is they have given Christine Fair the full chance to offload her venom, while making pathetic noises in favor of Pakistan, and by arranging the entire thing so no Pakistani official is present to even defend Pakistan. And you want to earn money from tourists? Are you out of your mind?

Imran Khan is a dishonest, deceitful leader who is leading fools to their doom and the fools are cheering him on as it happens. It is incredible watching this from afar.
