Brahmos fired from under su-30 MKI's belly can take out anything on ground from 250-290 km. So sukhoi does not have to be in enemies territory. Once fired Brahmos can decimate target in matter of minutes no time for detection or taking it out by any anti air asset.

Means they are not gonna cross the border ....so much so for SU-30MKI again

No ones is going to tell anyone or comment the airdefense system is no joke and should be taken seriously. Based on available information we are able to detect stealth jets even before obl raid. TPS 77 AESA radars are powerful enough to detect such kind of threat. When Inducting such a radar with huge range and power means a solution to counter the threat after being detected by TPS 77 or any other advanced radar for example destroying that threat is inducted.

some 5-6 years ago, a prominent research center in Islamabad , which has provided army with several successful projects before, was working on detecting stealth using multiple scattered ground based receivers.

Hey you know what, I too cannot disclose my sources but..., China may have given a sqd of J31 to PAF for checking it's stealth characteristics .
