It won't be FC-1 but RIC-1. So Pakistan may be able to stop FC-1 but not RIC-1. All China have to do is change the name and sell it to India.

Of course there is no RIC-1 today but it would be born if India chooses to buy and China chooses to sell. This will go a long way in building trust between India & China.

Pakistan's rights are limited to FC-1/JF-17 only. You cannot claim rights on other Chinese fighters.

Can we stay on topic please - which is the JF-17 at Zhuhai - and leave out such stupid what-if considerations??

The possibility that the IAF would get the JF-17 is as likely as that the USAF will scrap its 6th generation type and introduce the Su-50.

Really looking forward to some good news coming out of the Zuhai Airshow. I hope that at the very least, we learn about the specs of JF-17 Block III. I still hold some hope of the bird being in prototype stage, even though the recent discussion suggests otherwise.

That YL-5 is new ...

GB 500 and YJ6 were put infront of thunder in last zhuhai airshow as well

YJ-6 is a submunitions carrier, weight 1000 kg, while the YL-5 seems to be a new 1000 kg laser-guided unitary bomb.

I’ve half a mind to think its nearly comparable to RAAD(minus the turbojet) I think.

Last time it was displayed under name of GB6 ... It is guided dispenser/cluster .. work similar as CBU 105 but can deployed/ glide from high altitude...

Its clustered with various sub-munitions which could adjusted against any armor or soft targets (human or soft skinned vehicles) for precise attack.

Couple of things what is

1) dedicated recon pod if any equivalent of dB-110

2) Bunker buster , in the past Turkish bunker buster were in news for jf program

3) any small dia bombs in play ? Which means jf can carry 8-12 and take out 8-12 target in one sortie via satellite and ins guidance
