Pakistan is a hell hole for minorities. India has its own problems and we are well aware of that but there is no comparison with Pakistan. In Pakistan Ahmadis are constitutionally discriminated and they regularly get killed. Hindus and even Sikhs face similar discriminations. And the lower class Christians have the same status as Dalits in India. Shias are actually by and large part of the majority but still there have been a lot of news in recent times about violence against Shias.

true.....i blame a secular/socialist leader who introduced the measures since he bowed down to fanatical elements of the polity...but the mentality against them is not as deeply ingrained as the mentality of caste is in india. its political and has to do with proxy elements sub-servient to masters outside of Pakistan.....Sunnis and Shiias are Muslims, that's all that matters. We have plenty of both on here, ask away

not denying sectarian violence, we saw much of it....but again - while there is a war of ideology, the level of communalism and communal politics in Pakistan is nowhere near as toxic and harmful to social fabric as it is in india - where even a facebook post causes hindus and Muslims to clash in gujrat (as JUST happened)
